Maybe we can trade with other ships for supplies too, and I can enhance some things with magic so I think we can get by quite nicely really.

Magic? How do you mean? [She's seen a lot of odd things here, and she's starting to accept that she's never going to see the end of odd things.

Oh, I'm a witch. [She offered with a shrug of her shoulder.] Not a bad one either, top of my class in charms and nearly so in potions.

[So many of those words have little actual meaning to Furiosa; heard in passing or in a weak semblance of their actual origin; witch, charms ... class. She nods politely, if a little distantly.]

[Lily thought about that a bit and then nodded. I will have more when i get ingredients for potions and things.

What sort of ingredients will you need? I'll keep an eye open next stop.

OOh, anything. Spices, cocoa, flour, corn starch or something to thicken. Potatoes or any fresh fruits and vegetables. Meats, cheeses. I'll cook with whatever we can find and try to make it taste good.

[Some of those things were mere words or pictures in a book to Furiosa, and there was a part of her that was curious to taste these new things that Lily seemed excited about. What a world.]

I'm going to be spoiled. First reliable rations and now a decent cook.
