Next planet. [She's not sure if it's entirely smart offering to teach someone she's doesn't fully trust how to use a firearm, but at the same time he is doing good by arming the crew and she's thankful for that. This might not be the hyper-violent world she was used to, and her time here so far had been virtually devoid of the engagements she was otherwise used to, but it was a vast universe with a lot of unknowns and variables. ]

Doesn't look like it'd take you too long to arm everyone. [Perhaps it's partly his efficiency and determination with the firearms that has her wary, but the idea that he's willing to distribute them in the end does offer her some ease.]

[He looked at her for a long, long moment, before he nodded his head seriously.] Very well. Next planet. As long as it's everyone learning.

[That was important. He would not have their crew defenseless in a fight. Despite appearances, and words, Tyrion is ... alas, sadly loyal to a fault. Even his family couldn't quash that out of him.]

It's actually not that hard to build a gun. Simple matter of knowing the mathematics and the mechanics. [He eyed the weapon in front of him.] However, it's basic. No fancy twirls. Just the typical point, shoot, and fire. I haven't moved past that yet.

Everyone will learn. Some already know. Everyone will be able to defend themselves. [It's an important skill to have, and she's seen what's happened to those who weren't as committed. Quite simply, they hadn't survived.]

[She snorts,] I doubt half the warboys even knew what mathematics are. It takes dedication. Your gun is like your rig; it's your key to survival.

[She picks it up and looks it over. It's simple, but solid.] There's not a lot of use for long-range rifles in this place, this will be fine.

You know ... you are unbelievably frightening. [Tyrion stated dryly, as he pressed his lips together. However, she had a point. If they did not learn how to defend themselves, with what he had built, they could fall into whatever trap the Atroma were currently putting into place for them.]

Hmmm so to learn how to use the gun, is what will help us all survive.

[He nodded his head once.] Good. It will take time for me to learn to make anything more complex than that.

[She just stares at him, for a moment expressionless save for the smallest flash of vulnerability. She'd built up a reputation out of necessity among the Imperators, in order to survive her world.] Old habits die hard.

So far this world hasn't been anywhere near as destructive as mine; hopefully, we'll never have to fire a shot. [She's not about to bet on it, though.]

[He gives her a wry look, before he nods his head.] That they do.

One would hope so ... but I haven't had much stock in hope, these days. [A more curious look, now.] You are accepting my weapons, and offering me help. Does this mean I am beginning to grow on you, Captain?

[She sits back and looks at him. It's a considering look, not all together doubtful.] I'm willing to concede you're less of a threat than I may have originally thought. At least, not to me, personally. If you're willing to give the crew such a step up, it would be stupid of me to deny it.

I'm not sure if I should be flattered that you consider me such a threat to begin with, or insulted. [He hummed to himself.] Perhaps I will consider it one half one, one half the other.
