[Rogue sits with her back to the wall with a decent view of the door. She’d asked the bartender to inform anyone who came in and inquired about interviews to point them in her direction, and Nami had graciously agreed. This had been in her mind to determine for a while, but Loki's disappearance had just given her the proper motivation to try it. There is a determined set to her shoulders even as she tries to relax and nurse her drink. This would be what her friends would call reckless if they were feeling kind about things, which would be why she didn't plan on telling them.

...Ugh, waiting for interviews was not the best. Maybe she should have brought a book. She pages absently through her communicator instead.]

[Rogue was a little too numb to actually feel sorry, but she did feel a faint flicker of guilt. Very faint. After all, it wasn't like she'd stabbed him.

She smiled a little at him, pouring water on a napkin to clean up the blood on the counter, on her hand. She gave him a little sideways smile in return to his look.]

[Remy was able to return it with his own hint of a smile after awhile before his gaze dropped down to the glass in his hands, turning it around and around between his fingers.] Guess I dropped a lot onto ya tonight, hein?

I've had lighter talks. [She admitted, keeping her attention on her cleaning.

She still hadn't figured out how she felt about the whole... Mystique... everything.

Gawd. She swallowed and didn't quite look up at him.]

[Rogue shakes her head.]

[She examines her hand and, content that it is now Blood Free, pulls her glove back on.]

Besides, learned a few important things. I'd rather not have ta hear 'em for the first time again.

[Remy's own vision dropped to her hand as she pulled the glove back on.] Didn' know ya had control over other's powers. [What had changed? She didn't have that back in Luceti, or not what he had seen while there.]

Gettin' better every day. Still takes a while ta put 'em back once I drag 'em out, though. [Right now it was the smells; Logan's sense of smell always took the longest to pack back away.]

[Despite all that had just happened, as Remy was still a little shaken up by her display, he managed to smile,] Happy for ya cherie, [Before it wavered a little.] Take it only with other's powers, not ya own. [Because that, that was a little cruel, to be able to control those who weren't her own.]

[Rogue shrugged a little.] Figure controlin' what's goin' on inside my own head is part of my powers. Just not [a glance down at her hands] the touching part.

[Remy's smile grew as he gently moved to nudge his shoulder against hers.] Ya'll get there cherie, I know it. [The smile then turned a little more joking.] Don't know 'nyone more stubborn than ya, 'nd that alone proves to me ya'll get there just from will power alone.

[She wished it was that simple. Rogue smiled and it was like a the edges of a broken stain glass window.] Comin' from you, I reckon that's a compliment.

What, ya bein' stubborn? [Before his grin softened to more of a smile.] Or the control thing?

The first one. [A small smile and a shake of her head - she doesn't really want to talk about her powers.] Somethin' 'bout the pot and the kettle.

Ahhh, guess it comes with the territory, non? [Though he didn't let on just yet what he meant by that.] Know it was kinda a line at the time, to trick ya 'nto helpin' me out... but that whole book thing, seems right sometimes. [While Remy couldn't understand her life completely, he still got parts of it. Still got the feeling of being used, of that betrayal of family, of that fear of accidentally killing someone with their mutations, of having to wear the right mask to pass through normal everyday life.

But it wasn't all bad.] Stubbornness works in this case, 'specially when ya got something waitin' for ya on the other side of it all. [Remy may not like Loki as all, even think he was bad for Rogue, but Rogue loved him and if that gave her extra strength to work through her powers then she should use it.]
