We just got another communications officer on the Windrose.

She's doing alright. She's obsessed with getting into the top ten on the pinball machine for some stupid reason, so I rigged it.

[ because that's way easier than actually being good at pinball ]

The pinball machine? [Leia's expression turns a little dubious.] Well, she'll have some other distractions soon. I offered to teach her to read.

Kenobi thinks it'll be best to ease her into the whole... not being property thing, so she gets a list of stuff to do every day. Nothing bad, just stuff to keep her busy.

Her goal is to get a top 10 on the pinball machine, so I rigged it so she never loses.

Besides, now no one else is going to play the damn thing, which means less ringing.

What other tasks have they been giving her? Maybe we can speed those up a little, too.

We've been letting her pick out what she wants to do, for the most part, so most of it is still cleaning. But it's monitored.

[ so set times, set amounts, that sort of thing. ]

I've been trying to get ahead of her, but the damn kid's too fast.
