Nah. Mostly I'm here for Koala, but you know, she's not the only person on the crew I like talking to. [She wanders in, searching until she finds where the requisite ingredients for cups of tea are. Kitchens vary, but not by much.]

How are things in general, co-captain?

[There's a reason she's calling you that.]

I figured. [He nods and leans against a counter as she undergoes her search.]

Co-captain? [He grumbles.] Things have been okay I guess. Stable? ...Well now there's a lady who can move water with her mind on board, so that's cool.

[She pauses in her dig for cups to peer at him.] With her mind?

She from Zuko's world?

[digthefuzz]

With her mind! [He places his hands in front of his forehead and makes wiggling motions.]

...I don't think so. She was really... blue!

[She grins lazily.] Does that mean she's from yours?

[She knows better, but can't resist.]

[digthefuzz]

[He knows she knows better. Or rather, he only has a rough estimate that she knows better. So he coyly mocks being offended.]

Please! Can't you tell? We're totally different shades of blue. [It's a funny coincidence, though. Another blue person, and with powers that could easily pass for those of a mutant.]

Having never met her, I'll have to take your word for it. [Do you want one of these because she's making two by the looks.]

You've got some pretty interesting people on board. Must be a lot of fun.

Oh yeah, it's a real barrel of laughs... [He shrugs. And sure why not, he'll take one even if it's not usually his thing.]

I mean, don't get me wrong. I like almost every last one of them, but sometimes it feels like I was made captain just in time for the ship to become a powder keg!

Maybe it was planned that way. Think of the ratings. [Dry sarcasm.]

I don't think arbitrarily assigned captains is a great idea anyway. You should earn that title.

Right. Our good friends, the ratings. [He shakes his head.]

Dude, tell me about it. Or just... not have a captain at all. It's a lot better to make decisions as a committee. [He was ready to just be a figurehead for his crew until Greed stepped up.]

Yeah. We're all in the same boat, after all. No pun intended. [Huff.]

I don't envy you anyway. Our captain's pretty laid back and our ship is more or less drama free.

Yeah, and it's not like we can just abandon ship. ...Pun always intended.

[He nods.]

Man, that sounds like a dream! Sounds like one more reason to become a pirate for me!

Hah! You're getting crews mixed up. I mean the ship I'm on here.

[A bigger huff this time, but really Nami's just being grumpy for the sake of it.] Trust me, our captain back home is a moron and makes all kinds of stupid decisions and there's chaos everywhere.

Oh, that crew! You know, you really have to specify. [But he says that mostly teasingly.]

But it's the fun kind of chaos, right?

[Huff.

But after a moment she grins.]

Nah, it's okay.

It's been a while since I've seen them, so I'm kinda low-key homesick all the time. But I get to hang out with my friends here, too. Just a different bunch.

Heh... That's a good way of looking at it. I guess that's pretty much how I feel too. A bunch of you guys making being stuck in outer space feel like it's worth it!
