Then why is it called The Force?

I assume it's because it is the push behind our actions, our future, our destiny. But I don't actually know why it is called that. The name has been there for longer than the lives of stars themselves.

Or maybe they named it the Force a very, very long time ago because they forced a very nice kettle from one side of the kitchen to the other!

People like to take things seriously, I'm afraid. It's a dangerous adult flaw that we all possess.

I think adults like to present themselves as capable people and getting dirt on clothes tends to disavow others of that notion.

Or so I believe. I can't say for sure.

Oh. I wonder if that's why the nobles complain so much about their clothes.

It is possible. Nobles care a great deal about their presentation and the amount of money they spend.

I've only known a few exceptions to that rule.

Well . . . yes. I've met people who don't care so much for the wealth and power as much as their ability to help others in need. It's not that strange.

Rare, but not strange.

I've never met one like that before. They're... usually all very mean.

If you want to, of course. I tend to avoid nobles myself, to tell you the truth.

Well, he doesn't do it all on his own. He listens to his people and they help each other out.

That's... that's what we do, right?

She's a bit overwhelmed by the kindness sometimes, so much so that she can hardly believe in its genuineness.]

I like to think we all do. Sometimes we don't succeed, sometimes the attempt is not well-received. There are many times where kindness is not always liked or appreciated.

But that does not mean we should ever stop trying.
