Also, we need an update on how well Koala is doing at pinball.

[ She's adjusting the vase and gently touching the petals as Han enters the kitchen. His appearance doesn't startle her, unlike most of the unrecognizable faces she has been seeing for the first time on the ship. ]

No. I hope he's repulsed.

[ It's a joke... maybe. It's pretty much for anyone that isn't Captain Greed. ]

[falconing]

Something tells me he's not gonna be repulsed, but I appreciate the effort.

[ as he wanders over with a glass of water, which he deposits in front of elize, as he's holding his own. ]

How's the new ship?

[princessia]

[ She gives him a small, vague smile as a silent thank you for the water. ]

It's... fine. [ A shrug of her shoulders. There's really more to it than that. At least three of them on that ship are in the most depressing mood. ] There's two captains on the Pathstone too. One of them is a jerk and Jove's the better captain.

[falconing]

You've got a habit of running into captains that are jerks.

[ lightly, as han settles into a spare chair ]

I'm glad you've got a stable one, though.

[princessia]

I just ignore him.

[ Just like what he told her to do with Greed. But it's been more like Tek has actually been nice enough to give her some peace during her slump. Still, she thinks he's a creep.

She twists her glass cup around, staring at the water. ]

Has Greed been giving you problems?

[falconing]

Nah, not really. He's lightened up a little. I think he realized he was outnumbered and started playing nice.

[ han still generally ignores his orders, but. you know. han doesn't really do "authority" very well. ]

Generally keeps to himself unless he wants to be a nuisance.

[princessia]

Good.

[ She was actually contemplating bringing along her staff to the Huntress, if she hadn't thought of bringing the little vase. It's good to hear she doesn't have to hit someone over the head. ]

...Maybe you should have been captain.

[falconing]

[ there's a slight upward twitch of his lips, and han sighs. ]

Not my ship.

[ and han isn't about to just apply for it. that sort of thing has to be earned. besides, he's comfortable quietly directing everything along behind the scenes. ]

Besides, what're the odds Greed'll listen to someone like me as co-captain?

[princessia]

You could throw him out the airlock. Then he won't have to listen to you.

[ Then she lifts up her glass of water to take a sip. That's a joke too. She's really not cruel enough to make that a serious option, but she sure isn't afraid of showing her dislike. ]

[falconing]

[ there's a short laugh, and he reclines in his chair. ]

I think I'd give you that honor.
