[The camera manages to catch Fiona waking up with an angry yelp before she stumbles furiously out of bed, and off screen. Something like a muffled scream can be heard, but not seen. She's gone for a fair amount of time before she returns to addresse the camera directly.]

[She looks tired, a breath away from haggard. Her voice is harsh.] I feel like my room's been downgraded. What are our coordinates? [She frowns, scratches the back of her neck.] Where are we? And... how long's it been since the fire?

[That out of the way, she relaxes and asks in a more conversational tone:] And has anybody got a smoke? I'm definitely not quitting now. [She rolls her eyes.]

Oh, and Adrien, you owe me a drink. [Muttered:] At least.

[Anyone who wants to find Fiona on the bridge of the Marsiva is welcome to do so! They can find her when she just woke up, when she went off screen to scream into a pillow, or after the message when she'll be spending her time inspecting everything, and trying to find some cigarettes.]

I worked for a company that needed me to hop around galaxies and I met a lot of people. There was a giant robot and a superhero and lots of funny crap. And there was a guy - and don't laugh, this was really his real name - he called himself Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Yeah- company I worked with, it had really good information, like... I don't know, they were just never wrong. Maybe you had to be there. [Talking about this calms her a bit. She settles down with a quiet sort of ease.] He was a real nice guy, anyway. Good conversation, real calm; I liked him. Fucking obsessed with tea, though.

[sandhate]

[ Exudes calm, charming to even the lowest of the low, and obsessed with tea? ]

That's Obi-Wan. He's my Master.

Oh- oh, yeah! [She snaps her fingers, like she's just remembered something.] He said something about that! About how calling people 'master' wasn't a weird slave thing, it had to do with teachers. He talked about his teacher, I don't remember his name. It was Chinese or something.

[sandhate]

[ omfg fiona. ] Qui-Gon Jinn, he was my original Master before he died.

I don't remember Obi-Wan ever talking about working for a company. We, the Jedi, don't work for anyone.

[goodjob]

Yeah! That was his name! [She's grinning, ear to ear.] You really did know him, huh? I guess you weren't kidding about the jedi thing.

[Which is hilariously weird, but whatever.]

[Still, she'll be more patient, more honest, for a friend of Obi-Wan's.] It was... the situation was bad. And the way they worked... If Obi-Wan got out after I died, it might be that he couldn't talk about it. For everybody's safety. Or it could be more weird time shit, I don't know. That happens. Or doubles-- there's some bitch running around with my face here.

[sandhate]

[ He shakes his head and dismisses the burst of worry that Obi-Wan is hiding something from him, again. He holds his hands up, stopping her: ]

Hold on! You died?

Start from the beginning.

Uh- yeah. [This brings her up a little short. She wasn't expecting anyone to care, but especially not this jackhole.]

[Who is a friend of-- trained by-- Obi-Wan. So maybe he's not as much of an ass as he seems.] It's a long story. Probably boring. The company I worked for stopped on a planet, pissed off the natives, so they attacked, and... [She shrugs.] Obi-Wan wasn't captured.

[sandhate]

[ He shrugs ] It's not like I have anything else to do.

[ He does. Like fly the ship, deal with his family crisis but you know. This is easier, probably ]

Obviously, since he's here, on one of the ships. I know just about everything that Obi-Wan does [ that's probably an exaggeration ] and he hasn't ever mentioned you before.

[goodjob]

He is? [She perks up a bit.] Eh, makes sense. He had a lot going on- he mentioned a war? It's not like we became best friends or anything, I just liked talking to him. [She shrugs.]

What do you even want to know?

[sandhate]

You liked ...talking to him.

[ is that euphemism for something. though obi-wan does like to hear the sound of his own voice. ]

Well, for starters, what did he do there? What did he look like? What did he talk about?

[Squints.] Y...es? [Weirdo.]

[The subject of the conversation is no longer her. There, good. She can roll with this.] He was like... a nice guy? I'd never been in space before, so he showed me a few things, and I asked him what his planet was like. He had, you know, the beard and the glowing sword. He fought a dragon with it once.

[sandhate]

He's pretty much the same here, except no glowing sword. We should have one but when we woke up here, our lightsabers were missing. I assume Atroma took it.

He didn't mention me, at all?

[goodjob]

[Um.]

He mentioned the war, and... that a lot of people... died. [Fiona looks... very concerned.]

[sandhate]

[ ... ]

It's war, people die in wars.

[goodjob]

[You know what, if he's that dense, he can keep on being that dense.] Yeah. I know. Anyway, no, he didn't mention any Anakin Skywalkers.

[sandhate]

Did he mention anyone else besides Master Qui-Gon?

[goodjob]

No, I'd remember if he did. Is it that weird that he didn't mention you?

I don't know! It is weird that he didn't mention me if he really talked to you, especially if he talked about Master Qui-Gon. But I don't know if he was in an undercover mission for this "company" of yours, or if he just didn't talk about me for his own reasons.

It's better you ask him then I do.

[Cue Fiona shrugging very slowly. It's weirdly refreshing not to be the angry one for once.] There's a kid here who I worked with in that company, but he says he doesn't ever remember being there. It wouldn't surprise me if they wiped people's memories, or if... other weird shit's going on. He might not even remember me. [Brace yourself for disappointment, the Gallagher family motto.]
