[001] Video/Action
Who: Castiel (the 500% done one)
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: The Marsiva
When: Jan 20th
[Castiel doesn't sleep--not anymore, anyway--so finding himself waking up is an unusual thing. It usually means he's been seriously injured, but he doesn't remember anything that would cause him to come to awareness suddenly in a place that was not where he was previously; it doesn't alarm him much, but it does cause more than a little confusion. This is definitely not the Crystal Palace.
He explores a few rooms to begin with, cautious and on guard, but it seems there's no immediate threat and he takes a moment to check his pockets. Then he discovers the communicator, and then he starts to get really annoyed. There's no way. It isn't Adstringendum's PCD, but it's similar, and...
Ugh.
He fumbles with the communicator for a moment before figuring out how to broadcast, showing an extremely unimpressed angel who hasn't yet realized how awkwardly timed this post will be after the last one.]
This is entirely ridiculous. Where am I now?
[Not like his luck isn't normally bad enough that getting dragged into another dimension not all that long after figuring out how to break out of Adstringendum would be a shock, but really? Really?
Also that's it for the post. He'll be more chatty when he's not so annoyed.
If anyone wants to encounter him, after his post and while responding he'll be wandering the Marsiva, investigating the Hospitality Deck.]

video.
[It looks like it's gonna be a long day, Cas.]
video.
video.
video.
This is something of an unusual experience.
video.
video.
[Rather than over this network he hasn't figured out how to make secure. Though if they can't meet up, then Enochian might work for a private conversation over the network.]
Re: video.
That'd be all fine and good, but you're... unfortunately kinda stuck there until the shuffle happens. Which will be a few days. I could pull up a private line?
[Sam would be down to practice his Enochian.]
video.
Alright. That will do for now, then.
[private]
And then, in a language that is certainly not english:]
How'd it go? Everything okay, for both of you?
[private]
Well enough, yes. We spoke some about the differences in our current states, but little about what led to them.
[But considering their personalities, being secretive is little surprise. And they're getting along fine, which is the important part, right?]
[private]
He said —
He said that I said 'yes' to Lucifer. In his timeline.
[And Sam feels... really fucking bad about that.]
The Apocalypse, it happened.
[private]
Sam's words give him pause though, because that... That sort of explains some things, and then raises new questions as well. He's quiet several seconds, considering his response before he speaks again.]
There are many timelines, and many versions of the same world. It is little surprise that the Apocalypse would have occurred in at least one of them.
[private]
I know... I know. It's just that... it's very hard to separate myself from that. I get that I'm just having a pity party in my head, and I know things would have been screwed either way. But to him, I'm a vessel for the devil now.
It's just unsettling, I guess. I feel... guilty.
[private]
You can only be responsible for the choices you made, not the choices you could've made.
[Surely Sam knows this already, even if Castiel feels it's important to repeat.]
[private]
[He clears his throat.]
Sorry. Um.
... So...
Space.
[private]
Indeed.
Do you like it so far?
[private]
[wait is there a word for this in Enochian?] shitty —
—of me to say I actually don't... mind it? It's been easier than Adstringendum, anyway. More readily available food, shelter, ways to keep more busy and materials to look into... Getting plans sorted to get out seems a little trickier, though.
[private]
I don't mind it either. Having accomplished what I intended to do in our world, it is less pressing to find a way out.
[Especially with all the accommodations. It's kind of like a weird vacation, almost.]
Organizing plans will likely become easier the more we get to know those here. It is strange being the newcomer.
[Castiel is used to knowing pretty much everyone, and therefore finding it easy enough to take charge as he'd be able to in Adstringendum.]
[private]
What time are you from, anyway? From... home, that is.
[private]
The same time as I was last in Adstringendum; I just regained my grace.
[And Metatron escaped, but he's human so hopefully he'll just walk out into traffic or something while reading a book. It'd be a fitting end.]
[private]
That... is really unfortunate.
[Or, in English: "That really blows."]
You, um... Want me to fill you in on anything, or would you rather wait until we can get out of here?
[private]
[He appreciates the sympathy, but there's nothing to be upset about. It's just... Somewhat complicated to explain.]
I left Adstringendum and returned to our world, then altered the timeline entirely. I then traveled to Rei's world, where I remained until I arrived here.
[So whatever Sam is experiencing or experienced at home won't happen for Castiel. His own timeline is, for once in perhaps the entire history of their universe, calm.]
[private]
Then.... you're not the Cas from my world anymore.
That's — that's good, though. That you were able to change things there.
[He feels a little guilty. He had gone back home... and nothing was fixed.
Hell, he just made it infinitely worse.]
[private]
[He wants that to still be clear.]
Yes. There are many individuals who now have the chances they should've had.
[Like many of his siblings, and including Sam and Dean themselves.]
[private]
[You could be Godstiel or human or a stoner or Darth Vader for all he cares. You're still you, and he's glad to have you here.]
So... Dean and I... What are we actually up to now, back in your new timeline?
Nothing good, I'm sure.
