Who: Hera
Broadcast: Fleetwide.
Action: Golden, if you want!
When: Today.
[ Hera has on her best Concerned Mom Look right now. Possibly bordering on her You're All Grounded Look. Good job, guys. ]
Okay, so, I wouldn't have thought I'd need to say this, but please don't try to fly a shuttle by yourself if you've never done it before. I don't care what kind of augmentation you have; reading the instruction manual isn't the same as actually flying a ship in space. It's not even the same as flying in the atmosphere of a planet - space is a vacuum; there's no air, no friction, and navigation can be tricky.
Let's not have any accidents. If you want to get somewhere, or want to learn to fly, please talk to someone with experience. I'll make myself available for lessons. My name's Hera, and I'm on the Golden.

I have a pilot's augment; I'd be willing to teach what I know for the shuttles if anyone is interested.
[And, you know what, might not be a bad idea to make it mandatory for her crewmates to learn.]

But that'd be nice. I doubt I could teach everyone in the fleet by myself. [ She smiles faintly. ]
Re: Video
[She smiles back.]
You say that as if people actually have common sense.

Maybe, but in my experience, setting expectations helps with that quite a bit.
