Who: Koala and you.
Broadcast: Fleetwide.
Action: N/A unless you want to do ship stuff idk.
When: Today!! Or something.

[Hello everyone it's your fave weird smiling 11-year-old.]

I... just wanted to say — I did it, Mr. Greed! I finally got Top 10 in pinball, sir, just like you requested! [It's true, thanks to Han she's completely overtaken the scoreboards; hallelujah.] I, um, got all top 10 spots, too! Just in case you wanted me to have all ten... I'm sorry, my memory's a little fuzzy... I'm very sorry! But I did it. I'm glad I can finally move on to my next chore on my to-do list... I keep hearing these distant pinball machine noises in my head, b-but then I realize I'm just tired.

I didn't know games would be so hard! It was very frustrating... I almost frowned through it...

[She chucks very faintly, smiling wide.]

It's too bad that we're no longer near a planet. I-I think my crew would be very happy to have more games on board, like pinball. Or maybe better smelling clothing detergent. I like the kind that smells like flowers. I'll remember for the next place we stop by!

[AH, RIGHT. ANYWAY.]

Actually, I was... going to come on here for a request. If that's okay.

Ah. Well.

....

We need a new blender on the Huntress.

...

A-and if anyone has any spare table cloths, we could trade for those as well. There are large holes in the table currently.

...

And if anyone has something to help remove scorch marks...

[This ship is a f$%*ing mess.]

[ Ohhhhhh boy. Isn't this a mess. Hera puts on her patient face. ]

You're very right to respect your captain. It's important to do that, but there should always be a good reason for the orders your captain gives. If your captain gives you an unreasonable order, it's okay to question it.

[ Having spoken to Han enough to have a vague understanding of the girl's situation, Hera is now very calm and patient. She knows enough to know it's not as simple as telling the girl that she can do what she wants, and doesn't have to take orders. ]

Your captain should always be able to explain why they want you to do something. For instance, if I tell someone on my crew to clean out the air ducts, it's because the ducts are dirty, and they need to be clean so we can all continue to breathe easily on the ship. Your captain should never ask you to do something arbitrary, just because they can. And it's okay for you to ask why they want you to do something.

No. A big part of a captain's job is not to get upset. To be patient, and listen when your crew has questions or concerns. A captain has to earn respect - they have a job to do, too.

It sounds like he was.

You see, captain is a job too. Just like maintenance is a job. A captain can be good or bad at the job of being a captain.

I know.

[ She may not have ever been a slave herself, but she has enough experience of it to know what it does to people. To know the kind of mindset it creates. It's especially heartbreaking when it's coming from a child, though. ]

Would you like to visit another ship? You'd be welcome on the Golden. That's my ship. I'm a pilot.

Why don't you talk to Han about it.

[ Baby steps. ]

[ Nailed it. She is about 99% certain that Han will agree to that plan. ]

Good. I'm looking forward to it.
