Hi, my name is Kara, and this is pretty exciting, huh? Being in space and stuff… It's really not an opportunity that people from Earth, of which I am one, get too often. I wonder, what's everyone's favorite part about being in space? I think mine is looking out into the expanse and wondering what else is out there and, like, what everyone calls the toast with the egg in the middle? Toad in a hole? Egg's nest? What if it's some really weird name like "cyclops wheat square"?

[ she laughs, snorting slightly ]

How strange would that be?

Anyway, let me know! I can't wait to hear!

[ she waves enthusiastically and turns off the video ]

You know what's crazy? We don't actually know who's watching it. There's... some evidence of an audience out there? I mean, we get a paycheck based on our ratings every week or so. But we haven't actually... seen anybody.

I've talked to the people in charge once, but not about that. [He probably should've, looking back on that.]
