[Daenerys hadn't even had fortnight to settle in, to take in the situation she's found herself in. One moment she was in the almost safety of Drogon's company and the next she was surrounded by Dothraki. Now? She was.... looking at a strange speaking device? She learned enough that people could communicate with it, but not enough right away on how to do so herself. It takes her a moment to figure it out and when she finally does, her violet eyes are still wide with concern on the video feed. Once she realizes it's working, she tries to go for a more calm and assertive outward appearance.]

To think that such a place would be capable of stealing so many from their homes. I can't imagine the ransom they'd be seeking. I wish to speak to whoever thought it wise to attempt such a feat and if any others can provide valuable information, mayhap you'll receive a reward from me in return.

[Mostly her eternal gratitude, given that she had little else on her person in the way of money. Carefully, she tucks a stray silver lock behind her ear. She wanted to ask where Drogon was and yet she knew outright asking her captors where they'd taken her dragon might be too foolish of a thing to attempt.]

For now, nothing else comes to mind, but once I am assigned to a ship I will be sure to contact you.

[Considering he was the one ally she had in this giant metal viper's nest, that was probably the smartest thing to do. To keep him as close as the ships allow.]

If I am sent to another ship, I will seek you out. From what I'm told, all of the ships have good people. Sadly good people can only give me so much comfort. Good does not always mean we can trust.

[Which is the dilemma she's having with the Starks. They don't trust her, she doesn't trust them. Trust needed to be earned. She wanted to earn the Stark's trust, to prove she wasn't her father's daughter.]

Good means they are easily ... maneuvered. It also means that if you do find yourself in a situation without protection, turn to them until I can get to you, your Majesty.

[Is his grave reply. He trusted very few people with the safety of his future -- but he was going to have to, for now.]

[He might be grave but he had a good heart, she's learning. He was pragmatic and sensible. To think her one friend here would become a Lannister.]

I admit I do feel somewhat vulnerable without my guard or my dragons. But I had neither of those things once, I can live without them again. I will rely on the protection of whatever ship I am assigned. You won't need to worry about me too much.

[She hoped that it would be his ship, all the same because then she wouldn't have to find other means of getting into contact with him.]
