[What about alien fish-people? Clint had been on the communicator with what looked like some sort of orange octopus-head-girl. She seemed normal enough.]

[He wasn't procrastinating. It was just that for some reason being around this guy made Clint feel like he should do the manners-y thing. He'd be waiting for his host to eat first.

That's almost strangely specific.

[Chew chew, swallow. He didn't eat fish extremely often, except for the occasional anchovy. This was partially because it wasn't in his list of favorite things, and secondarily because it seemed a little too delicate and classy as far as meat went. He raised his eyebrows at the soup though, and nodded, and kept eating.]
