[ the girl who sits in front of the camera seems as if she is quite well-versed in this manner of communication. if she had spent precious time watching others from afar before trying her hand at it as to not look foolish, it does not show. the only hint of how foreign she is to this setting is her manner of dress but give it a few seconds and you might start thinking this is somehow natural, too.

after all, she does seem very comfortable. Margaery's smile is sweet and bright, her hair is flowing down her shoulders and a few roses are placed neatly in her lap, almost a portrait-worthy moment before she speaks. ]

If I am not entirely mistaken, these are our best chance of speaking to one another. I did not wish to appear ill-mannered in failing to introduce myself.

I am Margaery of House Tyrell; some of you I had the pleasure of meeting already and as for the rest, I am eager to speak to you as soon as it pleases you. I understand we are to spend quite some time together and it would please me to know each and every one of you. I know little of such vessels and adventures but I am keen to learn all that I may.

[ she agree, nodding and laughing at her antics. she is almost like a child with the wit of an adult. her grandmother would have found the girl amusing and refreshing, tired as she is of the court's mannerism. ]

And your own chambers, I hope? what are you expected to be doing abroad the ship?

Nope. All the ships are full up, but I'm a lab rat so I'm using one of the beds in the medbay.

[ what a odd thought. margaery has never learned of the art. while she is charitable to nobility and smallfolk alike, she had usually provided them with morale and supplies. yet when she thinks of it, she almost seems to know she can do the same, if given the chance. ]

[Chloe actually looks a little embarrassed at that, laughing and reaching up to tug her beanie off.]

I hope you will forgive me. I simply never met any woman like you before now. Where I come from, women are expected to be gentle and meek and produce children and care for their keeps. Few of them heal or speak as freely as you do and none of them even looks the same as you. I find your hair color very refreshing.

[ she almost looks embarrassed but just almost ]

Meeting someone so different I - I admit I am in awe. Your realm must be very interesting.

...That sounds hella shitty. But like, it's not that much different back home. I just...hate it and ignore it and if they think I'm ever gonna be some smarmy housewife I'm going to laugh and then probably light them on fire.

Nah. Nobody said they hurt anyway. But what they do do, heh, is give you all the facts and bits you need to do whatever job the fleet decided you should do.

And the others on the ship, have they been very welcoming?

Yeah. Just kinda...think through the positions on your ship and see if you suddenly know how to do something new. I know to how to set a broken leg now!

A very useful skill, to be certain. Especially here; the scenery is so new to everyone, those like me who have only arrived could easily misstep and fall, especially as we have little inclination what is considered to be a safe manner to carry oneself.

Well not I but perhaps others. Even the floors seem odd for me here. I am not even certain what manner of dress is considered appropriate here. Imagine if someone trips!

How beautiful! It seems oddly exotic to me, none in my realm dresses this way. Are these the clothes that came with you from home?

Yup, these are from home. I got a labcoat here too.

There...are clothes here. But they're really boring.

You can buy some crummy t-shirts at the station too.

Mayhaps if someday we can locate some fabric and fashion something new for our own use. Certainly that would not be a bore.

I was told I am gifted with a talent for needlework.

Needle...you mean you make dresses, huh.

To be truthful, I never had to be but if provided fabric and needles, I am certain that I can.

No way, I haven't worn a dress since I was like, twelve or something. Screw that.

I was just guessing from...uh. What you're already wearing.

So what do you make?

Well, once we achieve fabric, I shall look at those clothes more properly. I am certain I can learn how to make the tunics, at least.

Mostly embroidery, I admit. The weather at home is very forgiving, we do not worry for the cold very much.
