Who: margaery tyrell.
Broadcast: fleet wide.
Action: Marsiva ; hospitality deck
When: current
[ the girl who sits in front of the camera seems as if she is quite well-versed in this manner of communication. if she had spent precious time watching others from afar before trying her hand at it as to not look foolish, it does not show. the only hint of how foreign she is to this setting is her manner of dress but give it a few seconds and you might start thinking this is somehow natural, too.
after all, she does seem very comfortable. Margaery's smile is sweet and bright, her hair is flowing down her shoulders and a few roses are placed neatly in her lap, almost a portrait-worthy moment before she speaks. ]
If I am not entirely mistaken, these are our best chance of speaking to one another. I did not wish to appear ill-mannered in failing to introduce myself.
[ to her fellow hostages and to the audience watching. she made certain to appear especially lovely for this. if they love you from the first moment, they shall be yours forever if you mind your step. ]
I am Margaery of House Tyrell; some of you I had the pleasure of meeting already and as for the rest, I am eager to speak to you as soon as it pleases you. I understand we are to spend quite some time together and it would please me to know each and every one of you. I am certain you have fascinating tales to tell of your time here or where you come from; if you ever wish to share, I shall be honored to provide company. I know little of such vessels and adventures but I am keen to learn all that I may.
[ and win whatever game this is. she dips her chin, a humble gesture. ]
For now, I hope I am welcome among you and dearly hope this finds you well.

she had met robb stark's lady mother once, had always thought renly would be wise to maintain the alliance of house baratheon with the wolves of the north when he is king. but renly is gone and joffrey is a whole other manner.
and now, robb stark seems to be very much alive as well.
there is a risk here, were her darling husband-to-be to appear, he might have her head but as it is just herself here, just margaery in the name of house tyrell, she dips her chin. ]
Your Grace.
[ he had not named himself King in the North to her but she will never deny him his title, not now. ]
It is my honor, certainly. Forgive me if I assume such tales were told to you by one we both cherish.
Please call me Robb, my lady. [It is difficult for him to shake things off entirely. Half of him still lived in Westeros, and he still misses the weight of a sword in his hand. It is not easy to focus on his role in this fleet while he has left a war behind. The smile on his face is a bit awkward.] Welcome to space. Mayhaps it is good to know you are not alone here. [He decides not to speak of Bran and Sansa.] The Imp stays here as well.
[He laughs softly. His men told tales of her, his lady mother. Some stories were rather obscene and unfitting to be told. Others were curious. But, indeed, the lady Margaery Tyrell is truly a sight to behold.
A shame, she seems too good for the likes of Joffrey.]
I take it you have met my lady mother, then? I sent her to speak to lord Renly once. [His mother never wanted to go but, gods, it would have been more of a disaster if he sent the Greatjon in her stead.]
[ she smiles and nods her head. ]
Lord Tyrion had bid me hello and welcome, already. It seems as if space favors those of Westeros, does it not? an odd affair, as we have such little knowledge of it.
[ another nod at his question. ]
I had the honor to, yes. Lady Stark was very kind and very wise, I do consider it my fortune to have met her.
That might be the best thing to do my la... [Old habits don’t die easy.] ...Margaery. Most people here are not used to formalities. [They are overly informal, tending to address one another with ‘hey’ and ‘hey you’ which is completely the opposite of what his father has taught him.]
Aye, it definitely does. [A shrug and a smile.] It might add to the entertainment value they seek. I have heard rumors that king Robert used to be here as well. [Gods, how he wanted to speak to the man.]
[Still you lot did not accept her offer. It is a bitter thought. He could’ve used Highgarden’s forces for his campaign.]
She definitely is. [And he definitely does not listen as often to her as he should have.] Did your husband to be come with you as well? [He is curious what she will answer. While he knows of the betrothal between the lady Tyrell and King Joffrey, others say he died at the wedding.]
[ she shakes her head at his question, the smile still remaining even so ]
I find myself here quite alone.
[ a pause ]
I am very fortunate to have already been offered boons of kindness. As odd as they are, people here have been very welcoming and I was incredibly happy to see Lady Sansa, she is a dear friend to me.
It is refreshing indeed. [For a moment he lets his shoulders slump a little, looking a little more boyish than he wants others to see him as.] I some way I am glad that others have stopped bowing and calling me your grace.
That is so but it will change after they have performed this ritual called a shuffle. It is where new arrivals get assigned to one of the ships.
[Robb tries not to grimace a little when she calls Sansa a dear friend and he tries not to think about what Joffrey has done to his sister and he definitely tries not to ask himself if Margaery has seen anything. That craven would probably have kept such a thing from his wife-to-be.]
You are always welcome to visit her on the Blue Fish. That is the ship assigned to us. I am sure she’d be pleased to see you again.
[OOC: I have no idea what I meant wit ‘Did your husband to be come with you as well?’ Probably something that is anything but proper English, sorry :(]
[ titles create distance, they are meant to do exactly that and leaving them behind will do the opposite. in that manner, robb stark is wise. it is the first time she has this chance of meeting the king-in-the-north and already, he leaves an impression. ]
Shall I be allowed an audience if I will? I shall feel terribly ill-mannered to come before Sansa and not say hello to her brother.
Well, my siblings have told many about my crown. But most of the conversations I have had were pleasant ones. [There were some less pleasant ones but he does not feel like telling her about those. Others probably would eventually.]
Of course, my la...Margaery... [Old habits don’t die easily.] If you wish it you can join us for dinner.
