Log 001 | Video + Optional Action
Who: Jim Kirk & the good people of the Fleet
Broadcast: Video
Action: The Marsiva, Hospitality Deck
When: Now until the next shuffle
[ The feed pops up everyone will be greeted with a combination of fluffy, tousled golden hair and very angry looking bright blue eyes. There is a faint flush to his cheeks with make his few freckles stand out and his normally expressive mouth is set in a thin line.
Captain James Tiberius Kirk is not a happy man.
But then you might not be too if you had found yourself waking up and staring at a ceiling that was definitely not your ceiling on your ship, and definitely not in your bed. While the last part wasn't necessarily strange for him, the fact he did not remember getting there and that he did not have a partner last night was. That this was all happening on what was essentially the maiden voyage of his brand new ship on his brand new mission just made this more irritating than laughable.
On top of that, he could tell... something had been done to him. He wasn't quite sure what, but something, he could feel it on the back of his neck, and that was disturbing him far, far more than he cared to admit aloud. ]
To anyone who can hear or see this - my name is Captain James Tiberius Kirk, of the Federation Star Ship Enterprise. I don't know what it is you think you're doing - and if this is some kind of prank, it's a damn poor one - but I would greatly appreciate an explanation and to be returned to my ship immediately.
I would really hate to start off on a misunderstanding, after all.
[ He flashes a smile now, as if to smooth things over, but there's a tightness in the corners.
The missive given, he'll be exploring what he personally thinks of as a rather large holding cell while he waits for a response, curious as to if he's alone, who else might be here, and if he can find out anything from the ship itself. Where's a terminal so he can poke at it? ]

[ action ]
I have a feeling we all are. I'm not sure I could even calculate how far we are from the Earth - I have no idea what star system we're in.
Re: [ action ]
I doubt we'll find any defining markers to which we can chart our course. I'm sure the Atroma has the records somewhere, but we hardly know where they are.
[ action ]
[ He wasn't even sure he could. He was good with computers and such, but not fully understanding the system was a problem that would take time to overcome. And that was assuming the systems aboard this ships had direct connections to any greater source of information on what he would think would be a mother ship of sorts. If the systems were isolated, there would be little he could do. ]
Maybe one of these days we come across a place someone does know and can go from there. At this rate, it sounds like we'll be playing a patience game.
Re: [ action ]
And how patient can you be, Captain?
[ action ]
[ He gives a chagrined smile. No, Kirk was not an especially patient man when he wanted something, but he had his moments. ]
It's always hard when you have family waiting for you.
Re: [ action ]
[ Leto wonders how long he'll be parted from Ghani this time. But she'll be fine, she always is. And she has her own role to play. ]
I know my sister will make sure nothing goes wrong in my absence. And she's a firmer taskmaster than I could ever be.
[ action ]
[ Or so he hopes. He heard what Spock had done when he had died, and while it had warmed him, it worried him a little too. What would Spock be doing now? Or had he been relieved of command and someone else was in charge? ]
Heh, seems we share similar family members. Funny how that's comforting.
Re: [ action ]
It's an odd thread of comfort, for sure. But one that will do for now, while we linger among strangers.
[ action ]
Not strangers for long, though, I would hope. I guess that's the thing about captivity. We have all the time to get to know each other.
[ He smiles at the other, and he just might in fact be flirting. ]
Re: [ action ]
Why, Captain, you have some interesting ideas about captivity. Should we spruce it up with some chains to sell it completely?
[ action ]
I don't do chains on the first date, Leto, sorry.
[ Oh yes, his blues have a particular glint in them. He does so enjoy teasing people. ]
Re: [ action ]
[ action ]
Maybe I just didn't want to scare you off to quickly. It would be a shame, after all.
Re: [ action ]
[ This is fun, he realized. He never really flirted with many people back in Aather. They tended to gather around him.
He wonders if it'll be the same here. ]
But perhaps I'll go easy on you.
[ action ]
He tilts his head slightly and his smile is easy and warm as he looks on Leto. Those blue eyes are particularly alluring, shifting from bright sky blue to something darker, a cerulean almost. ]
Just a personal policy of mine. I have this thing making people melt first.
[ Oh yes, it's a challenge right there. ]
Think it's me who should be saying those words, Leto.
Re: [ action ]
Has that line ever worked?
Try and catch up to me then.
[ action ] /is so sorry her flirting skills are terrible/
Would you believe me if I said a time or two? And those people didn't leave unsatisfied.
Think you better show me what you got first, Leto.
[ He crosses his arms and tilts his chin up ever so slightly, smirking at the other as he lays out his challenge, seeming to think Leto will respond to it as he himself did. ]
<3
I don't strip on call, I'm afraid. Though I suppose I could indulge you in another fashion.
[ Leto, please. You spend half your miniseries shirtless ]

[ He's sitting back on whatever chair he acquired, treating it very much like his captain's chair, and waiting for this 'other fashion'. ]

He can deal with that. Leto saunters over, curling a hand around Jim's neck. It's strong and steady. Leto flashes him a smile and you may notice for the first time, that his teeth are vaguely pointed. He leans close, so close that Jim can feel the escaping of Leto's breath upon his lips, hot and dry, with the scent of something else, something outwordly.
It's as if he's giving prayer to Jim's form. His posture is obeisance, inwardly giving, short puffs of breath being exchanged between them. ]

The sharpened teeth only intrigue him, but then this wouldn't be his first time with an alien (and certainly not one with sharpened teeth, either. He found they could particularly delightful if applied correctly). His head tilts ever so slightly, aligning his lips to Leto's, letting his own breaths mingle.
It is a new sensation, the way they breathe together, and while some part of him wonders at himself for being so aroused at a time like this, perhaps it is also the perfect time. There wasn't much they could do, after all, besides pass the time, and it would be a pity to end this when it had only just begun.
He basks in the supplication for a little, watching Leto's face, tracing the arches and angles with his eyes. Slowly he tilts his head slightly forward, brushing their lips like passing feathers. ]

Does that whet your appetite?

Think I'm in the mood to skip to the main course.

[ The wormskin seethes, recoiling against the touch. It was enough to remind Leto that he cannot push too far. He can't give the Captain what he wants, after all. He climbs off. ]
But perhaps you should get to know more people before dining.

Save the best for last, perhaps?
