[ The broadcast opens up to show a young girl with fluffy blonde hair, only about eleven or twelve years of age. She's sitting down, out in the park. She has a notebook, a stash of pens, her mage staff, and her doll next to her. ]

...I'm Elize Lutus. Hello. I've been here for about ten months now? I think. If anyone needs help with anything, let me know. I'll do my best.

[ That's mainly directed towards many of the newcomers to the fleet. Then there's an awkward pause. That's not the reason why she's making a video broadcast in the first place. For someone as shy as Elize, she normally dislikes recording herself for the entire public to see. ]

Um... so, I've been learning a lot about other worlds. And Jove has been teaching me how to write in the common tongue! She taught me some Elvish words too. Like falon. That means friend.

[ The reason she decided to record herself is to show off what she has been learning, her achievements, like a proud child. She opens up her notebook, holding it open to the screen. It's lines of sentences written in the common tongue, recognizable to those who come from Thedas. (It looks a bit like this.) Some lines are written in practiced repetition. They're extremely basic sentences like "my name is...", "how are you?", simple greetings, etc.

Everything is written in sparkly, pink gel pen ink that she bought from the station. It's written neatly too, with no smudging. She made sure the ink dried! ]

When I get better, I'm hoping to write a letter entirely in common tongue.

[ She flips the notebook over to look at her own writing. Her shoulders slump in disappointment and her proud expression begins to falter, like there's a moment of disbelief that the letter she writes might not reach. She then looks back up, putting on a brave smile even though her cheeks are red with embarrassment. She'll get this letter delivered, somehow. ]

If... anyone wants to hang out or something, I'm at the park. Or, we can just chat over the communicator. That's fine too.

[ACTION]

[ And as she mentioned in the broadcast, Elize will be in the park. She's laying down on her stomach, being diligent and practicing writing down sentences repeatedly in her notebook. ]

I've never drawn before... Is it fun?

[princessia]

You haven't?

[ There's a little gasp, like it's unheard of! ]

It's lots of fun!

[pneumo]

I haven't had a lot of chances to... [ aka, he's had fairly well zero chances prior to now so he's wondering how well he'll be able to do. Hopefully she's got crayons or something. ]

[princessia]

[ Unfortunately, she has no crayons. And her regular multicolored pens are back on her ship. He'll have to deal with sparkly, gel pens of different shades. ]

I think we can draw with the new pens I bought... you just have to be careful with them.

[pneumo]

I will~ [ It's confidence-inspiring when he says it in sing-song, right? ]

[princessia]

[ The sing-song makes him sound excited to her. And she's excited to show off her new pens. ]

I'll show you how to use the pens. They kind of smudge easily...

[ That's so cute... Sascha can't wait to get there now. He'll stop dallying on his way there and head over with purpose now; it should only be about ten minutes now. ]

What kinda pens are they??

The shopkeeper called them gel pens. They're so sparkly!

[ Rieze Maxians like herself wrote with quills and a bottle of ink. They're actually quite new to her as well, but she got the hang of them rather quickly. She feels like an expert of pink gel pens. ]

I picked out all the pink ones.

[pneumo]

Oh! Pink's a pretty awesome colour--! [ And no, he's not being facetious. Sascha is 100% serious about this colour. ]

[princessia]

[ It's her favorite color, so she's even more cheerful to hear that he likes it as well. ]

It is! It's the cutest color!

[pneumo]

Right?? Pink dresses are super-adorable. And all the stuff on Valentine's is pink, and stuffed animals are pink...

[ It's a very pleasing colour to his eyes c: ]

[princessia]

[ Nod, nod! ]

I like all those things too!

[ Except she's not sure about Valentine's. She wasn't paying attention when people were talking about it over the network. But surely she would love Valentine's Day stuff too! ]

[pneumo]

Oh--I see the park now! What part are you in? I'm the guy with a big red umbrella.

[princessia]

[ She stands up, so she can be more easily seen. ]

I'm near the fountain. Why did you bring an umbrella?

[pneumo]

[ excellent. It'll take him a minute or two, but just as he says there'll be a lanky sort of guy standing under an umbrella, waving his heart out at her. ]

I'll fall asleep otherwise.

[princessia]

[ He'll have to head over to her, since a bunch of her belongings are just sitting in the grass. Too much to carry! She does see him though and gives a small, timid wave in return. ]

...Does sunbathing make you sleepy?

[pneumo]

[ he can do this--gladly! Sascha will wave and motion to his phone, snapping it shut so he can just answer when he gets over there with his umbrella held diligently above himself. ]

Yeah, super-sleepy.

Nice to meet you in person by the way.

[princessia]

Are you able to set it on the ground? Then you can sit under it.

[ Like a beach umbrella or something. So he doesn't have to hold it and a pen at the same time.

She sits back down in the grass, next to all her writing materials, stuffed animal, and staff. ]

Nice to meet you too. I never got your name...

[pneumo]

Oh right! Sorry, haha. I got so distracted by the colours and stuff... [ He plants himself down nice and square, legs crossed. ]

I'm Sascha.

[princessia]

That's okay.

[ Talking about the color pink was fun for her. She sits down before him. No umbrella for her, but she won't fall asleep unless she's intentionally trying to take a nap in the grass. ]

You can look at the pen colors in person now, Sascha! See?

[ She pushes her little stack of gel pens over to him. All different shades of pink! ]

[pneumo]

[ All fablous shades of pink, and Sascha picks up a few eagerly with keen eyes. ]

Whoa...! Haha, you weren't kidding! You've got so many! Light pink, hot pink, soft pink, rose, fuchsia, punch, watermelon...flamingo! [ Don't ask why he knows so many different shades of pink. ]

[princessia]

...Flamingo?

[ She cants her head in confusion. Never heard of that one. ]

[pneumo]

Yeah! It's a pink the same shade as a flamingo in real life.

[princessia]

What's... a flamingo?

[pneumo]

You've never seen one before?? They're these funny-looking birds with suuuper long legs and beaks, and they eat these shrimp-things and stand on one foot!
