Back by popular demand, bitches. And apparently Atroma still sucks at ship names; I'm not anymore impressed with this one. If there's booze here, though, I might change my mind.

[Otherwise she might have to put in for a transfer; she had liked living on a ship with a barkeep.]

Hey, I'll take what I can get. [She shuts off the feed and a few minutes later she's making her way to the kitchen. Totally didn't get lost. Nope. She takes a seat across from him and leans on the table.]

[ Doesn't matter how long she takes. Day after Valentine's means Dean's happy to stay home and recover from the massive hangover he's got with more than a little hair of the dog. When she shows up, Dean raises his chin and smiles, mouth closed, to greet her. ]

Whiskey.

[ He answers straight, picks up the cup across from his own and sets it a little closer to the edge of the table for her to take. The bottle's on his side of the table, amber liquid like it should be, but no label on it. ]

It's all I've got, unless you want something that makes your bones glow and tastes like it was bottled straight from a sewer.

[ If she wants to turn it down then hey, that's more for him, and it still gets her talking. That's the theory, anyway. ]

[She smiles wide to hear he's got the good stuff for her, and plops down in a seat before inspecting the offered drink. Mostly it's to see how pretty it is, but there's some lingering distrust hammered in by the Project.]

You sure know the way to a girl's heart. [She throws it down in one go, wincing at the burn, and reaches for the bottle to pour another shot.] I'm not too picky but this'll do for the mean time.

[ He lets her pour a second, nursing his own cup. But if she thinks she's going to be downing half the bottle with him, she's got another thing coming. For now, though... Yeah, sure, she can help herself. ]

I'm Dean. Just got here a couple weeks ago. ...From the way you were talking, this isn't your first rodeo. So where exactly are you back from?

[ Maybe he's being nosy right off the bat, but good whiskey ain't free, and he plans to get what he's paying for before she drinks it all or changes her mind. ]

[She'll help herself until it's empty or he takes it away from her, and depending on how drunk she is at that point she might try to fight him for it.]

Nothingness, really? I don't remember what happened, just waking up on the Marsiva and being really pissed I got reassigned ships. Not that yours is like, crap, or anything, but mine had a bartender. Well stocked.
