I can help with the second thing, [since he's no engineer and it's not like he's gonna ring up the ones he knows,] but wouldn't it be easier to fix whatever you broke if you were on the ground?

[Joseph starts moving over towards where Robin's busy floating off away to try and catch him.]

No no, I can push off the ceiling...

[he tries to point at the ceiling, so as to explain he's going to head to the floor eventually. makes perfect sense to him.]

Just need some footing. [a beat.] Please tell me that your carrying a small dog around is just coincidence, and not connected to the broken gravity situation.

[Joseph stops for a second in getting closer to Robin to frown up at him. Or, well, attempt to while he's rolling away in the air.]

What would having a dog have to do with gravity? [You know what? Doesn't matter. Joseph detaches Cloudy's leash from her and catches Robin by his ankle, tying one end of the leash to it. Joseph grins and looks up at Robin again.] Where should I put you?

[He'll just hitch Robin so he can't float away from where he's working again. Genius. Until then, he's like a weird floating balloon.]

[he opens his mouth, makes a noise like he's going to say something... but... he ends up frowning and dropping his shoulders instead.]

No, that's fair. Down by that panel over there, if you would.

[he points to some exposed part of the wall, next to a control panel.]

...And I don't know, maybe the dog was deployed as a quirky repairing mechanism. Maybe the dog was secretly a robot. [he shrugs.] My cargo bay is full of gumballs and I'm floating in zero-gravity--I'm open to a lot of weird possibilities.

[Joseph tugs Robin along behind him, making his way over to the exposed part of the wall.]

Okay, that'd be a fair assumption except you caused the zero gravity.

[Once he's over by the wall, he looks for something to tie Robin down on. There's unfortunately not much, so he opts for some sturdy part of the exposed panel that's not likely going to snap or be in the way. Unfortunately to do this, he's gotta let Cloudy or his shoes go for a moment. It's the boots that are now floating away. He looks around the bridge.]

You got the tools you need to fix this?

On the contrary. I feel I'm being falsely accused. I'm sure this should have worked...

[while this tethering is going on, Robin finds something to hold onto himself. he is much less ridiculous now that he can control his own movements...]

But... Yeah, it's easy to fix with a couple of spare couplers and a new fuse. And a system restore.

[...he's looking at the dog, though. and not the open panel or the parts or anything.]

... I've got an important question for you first, though.

[...he stares at Jojo for a moment, drifting slowly upwards around where he's holding onto the wall.]

[Robin is extremely socially astute when he puts his mind to it! he just... has yet to find any reason he should be putting his mind to it, here. he sighs a little, but does finally get into that paneling and start on removing the blown-out piece.]

No fun at all... [he looks around for something, and then... up... to where a toolbox is floating a little above the other's head.] Could you--grab that while you're there? Float it over, the extras are in there.
