1st Stitch [text]
Who: Qing and whoever
Broadcast: Text
Action: N/A unless you want to see him texting on the Caprine I guess
When: Now
This might be a weird question, but is anyone able to make a sewing machine? Obviously, I'm willing to pay for it.
I forgot how tedious hand-sewing is when you're making clothes.

[Although in all fairness, it's not like Joseph had a lot of friends for a long time either. Granted, he was a lot more abrasive than Qing was though it didn't come from being legitimately unkind so much as woefully ignorant about life beyond that of what his comfortable lifestyle afforded him for so long. But it wasn't as though Joseph couldn't charm anyone if he put his mind to it, so it seemed like something like that should come easier to Qing.]
[And then another thought occurs to Joseph abruptly, so before Qing can send another message back, he sends another.
You've been making friends here, right?

Mostly, people are just kind of weirded out by a guy dressing like a girl, especially in the States.
[Ah. That was kind of a complicated question, for him. Qing's not really used to making friends, so he can't be completely sure, but if he thinks about it...]
I guess I have been, sort of. If they don't just think of me as acquaintances.

Oh, well. Then I'm definitely introducing you to Suzie and Caesar. Maybe my mum if you're feeling brave enough to talk to her.
[Lisa Lisa is a little intense, okay. He recognizes that.]
But Suzie and Caesar will like you and be your friends, trust me. And they're good people to have at your side.

I'd like that. It doesn't hurt to meet more people. Who's your mum?
[LITTLE DO THEY KNOW Qing has already spoken to Lisa Lisa once before. Back when she first showed up. Amazing.]
There are a lot of good people here. It's been really nice, actually.

[To be fair, he speaks a language that a lot of people say sounds angry when they're just talking normally.]

Not that I was intimidated when I met her. She actually pissed me off the first time I met her.
[WHO HITS SOMEONE IN THE FACE WITH AN OAR?]

But you didn't know her as a child, then...?
