Red Fish assemble!
Who: Crew and visitors of the SS Red Fish
Broadcast: Nah
Action: Aboard the good ship Red Fish
When: End of February--Beginning of March?
[why is it called the Red Fish when the place looks more like a spiky dungeon than anything having to do with aquatic wildlife? no one knows.
it might be an unconventional atmosphere for socializing, but the lovable crew of the Red Fish isn't going to let a little thing like that stop them from bonding, are they?]

[If she were a more confidant type (she might project confidence, but alas it is a projection) she might pick on him and "kiss" his eye better. She could do that. But he's lucky she's not that comfortable with casual touching, and even less with kissing.

[Okay but she can tease him verbally.]

as it is, he's already glad that Zhas isn't there to see this. as much as the skullfaced man had complained about magic in general, that's how Coil tends to feel about energies that aren't his own. so, the spell combined with the touch on his face has his skin absolutely crawling.
the very moment that it's all over with, he leans away just that extra inch. and he rolls his eye at the comment--so maturely.]

She makes the sign for 'hungry?'], because she worries that he doesn't eat enough. He's not great at taking actual care of himself.]

so, he shrugs. which isn't a no.]

She's getting better at working all the bobs and whatnots of the kitchen. She couldn't tell you what half of them are called, but she knows which ones make things hot and that's important. After a few minutes, she brings him a bowl of something like stew, any solid bits are cooked down to the point they're basically dissolved, and it's easy for him to swallow. She also brings him a glass of water.]

she even goes the extra mile to bring him some water, which means he actually bothers to sign her a thanks, before beginning to pick at his food.
and it's slow-going as always. he'll be at it for a while.]
