Who: Sara Lance
Broadcast: Everyone, new arrivals as they appear.
Action: Aboard the Marsiva.
When: This week.
[sara awakens with a gasp, shooting not just upright but to her feet and reaching for -- coming up empty-handed. she frowns, dropping her hand, and pivots on her heel to take a good look at her surroundings. this is...different. once she's convinced there's no immediate threat, she searches her bunk for what she knows is missing, and eventually notices the open feed on her communicator. there's a brief moment where she eyes it sharply, then clicks it off.
we were trained by the league; no prison can hold us. it's what she wants to say, but when she turns the feed back on ten minutes later, she seems more relaxed; some people might recognize the tune she briefly hums.]
So, [she draws out the word: sooooo] what's a girl got to do around here to find a little company?

I was serious, Franklin.
[what she figures is a joke about his name might be cute if they were meeting somewhere more normal than...a spaceship.]

[And one that only his Nana calls him on the regular. Or his friend, when he's in trouble.]

[she needs a minute to let that sink in, and then her lips twitch dangerously. he could be lying, but that long-suffering air doesn't seem very faked.]
Patriotic. Are all your siblings named after presidents, or did you just get lucky?
Video
Only child. Probably for the best. I don't know how I would have competed against JFK.
Video
At least you weren't named Herbert. Or Ulysses.
[says the woman who calls herself canary.]

Oh god. You can...you can stop now. I've made my peace with FDR. [He actually thinks the letters sound pretty cool okay.]

So, should we continue with the 'getting to know you' survey, or should we save ourselves something to talk about over drinks? Other than the vast amount of movie and television reference we can make to our current predicament, I mean.

[she could ask any of the welcome spiel-y questions she's got, but she likes this. the light banter that doesn't need to be anything else.]
Which ship are you on?

[Mystery is certainly the key to keeping him interested, he does have a natural affinity for information and secrets.]
Starstruck.

[she can't help herself.]
Maybe I'll find my way there, one way or another, after all this.

he chuckles lightly and puts his hands up behind his head.]
I will keep a bottle and a couple of glasses then just in case you do manage to find your way here.
