Video/Action - Wake Up
Who: Tenno and you
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: On board the Marsiva
When: March 1st
Broadcast:
[The feed pops on to reveal a man resting on a cot in the Marsiva's hospitality deck, a simple black undersuit on his frame. There's a muffled grunt as he starts to stir before jolting upright and causing the feed to spin as the communicator is sent head over heels to end of the bed.
It settles back onto the man whose now rubbing his temples and staring down on the floor. Then the Tenno goes rigid and his head snaps up to start scanning the surrounding area. A low disgruntled hiss leaves him, obviously displeased at his situation. The agitation grows more apparent as he stumbles onto his feet and starts to glance himself over. His hands tightening into fists before he searches around.
He crosses the room and pokes around at all of the nooks and crannies that he can see. There's a brief mumble about something that sounds like chroma and weapons. More noises of displeasure at the lack of finding whatever it is he's searching for.
The feed is sent flying once more as the cot itself is now flipped over. He gives little regard to the device as he huffs angrily.]
By Lotus, let this be another dream.
Action:
[The Tenno can be seen moving about the ship in an intense search for anything familiar to him. He tries to avoid crossing paths and keeps towards the wall or shadows of the ship in order to maintain focus on his objective. There are brief pauses in order to study the layout of the ship and the people that fill it in order to get a better idea of what situation he has found himself in now.
There was no indication of a Grineer let alone Corpus presence here which made less sense than before. This place reminded him of a relay if anything so he finds a quiet section and attempts to make sense of the small device.
It wasn't capable of finding the signal used by the Lotus let alone the liset which means not even Ordis could find him. Had he been abandoned? That was a rather unsettling thought but he remains calm. No enemy transmissions came from either. He'll find a way to return to the cephalon at the very minimum, armor or not.
Less comforting thought was the mark on his arm, hidden again by the suit. Still he occasionally rubs the area as if to make it disappear. If the Stalker found him like this...]

HERE I COME 8D [video]
Who's Lotus? Um. Hi, fresh meat! It's not a dream. Your dreams have got to be way cooler than this. Like I have dreams where I'm riding around on unicorns and naked and I've got a flamethrower that sprays white-hot purple glitter and it's pretty cool. This is fun and all, and there are spaceships and guns, but it's definitely not... um. That cool.
So you're kind of stuck here! With the rest of us! Which is... fun? Sort of? Might as well be fun because you're stuck! I'm Lieutenant Wrath. What's your name?
Oh god Wrath what even
I have no idea what you're going on about. I'm used to spaceships and guns however I'm missing my armor. Corpus or Grineer must've stripped it off but I don't recognize this place being of their design so--
What do you mean stuck?
This is how I know I'm doing it right
Anyway, if you had anything actually useful, yeah, it's gonna be gone. Motherfuckers took my sword and my goo grenades. The Atroma are kind of assholes like that. But. Uh. I don't know what a Corpus or Grineer is, I haven't seen anything like that around. There's the um. [Ticking them off on her fingers.] Atroma, whatever the fuck they are, and humans. Lots of humans. And we went to a planet with Surrits on it a couple months ago, it was awesome and I built a snowman. And the Nunnilis are really cool too! But they wouldn't steal your stuff.
So yeah. You're here because of the Atroma. I think that's how it works. They like steal you from wherever you were and then put you here, which is actually a tv show. Which can be cool if you try to be positive about it! The viewers are really nice and send you stuff if you're not a total dick. But anyway, we just. Fly around. And no one's tried to literally rip off my face and eat it yet or erase my brain so it's pretty awesome actually.
So much wtf from Tenno but she's glorious
[She certainly can talk a lot. Most of the things she rattles off is useless to him so pays it no attention.]
I'm supposed to fight against the Corpus and Grineer, bring back some form of peace to the Origin system. Not be a part of some show. Let alone be watched by someone I can't see. People are counting on me to do my job. The Lotus and Ordis...
[The cephalon must think he's been abandoned again. Once more it's not his decision either and there's no memories of how he got here. It was like how he first woke up.]
I have to find them.
Oh Tenno, you have not even dipped a toe in the wtf lake
I don't know what any of those things are, and we haven't run across them. Except Lotus? You're looking for a flower? Is an Ordis also a kind of flower? Wait, are you like a badass botanist? You should totally talk to Vision, he's a computer person and he grows seaweed that tastes almost like vat bacon.
Um.
Check on the ship you're on. The Marsiva. Plants aren't dangerous so they might be there already.
Maybe the tip of a toe
It's a Warframe. Heavily armored and yes the color thing comes into play. Different energy color means different damage if I so choose however it's extremely dangerous if not under my control. I don't need to go hunting it down yet again. Looks as though I will have to though.
Lotus is the one who woke me up. She guides us Tenno but I haven't heard from her. And Ordis is not a plant. He's a cephalon for my ship and I...would prefer if I wasn't forced to abandon him again. He's fractured. I'm not a botanist, I'm Tenno.
Re: Maybe the tip of a toe
[Okay, listening to the description...] So like heavy infantry armor? With some kind of. Uh. Native AI? [She's now envisioning Maine's armor rampaging around without him. It's an impressive thought.] It's probably not anywhere around here, sorry.
I don't think there's anyone named Lotus in the fleet, but don't give up hope! I don't know everyone here. Or an Ordis.
[Think.]
So a cephalon is like... a computer person? An AI? [SHE'S TRYING OKAY.]
no subject
[Bonus points to her for sort of knowing what he meant. That was progress. However the news makes him falter..]
But Atroma might, right?
[No Ordis or Lotus confirmation. Dammit.] I'll find them. Hopefully. But yes he's a onboard AI. He'll be attached to a Liset class spacecraft.
no subject
You can try to ask them but all I've seen is they're fucking unhelpful. But it doesn't hurt to try?
Oh! Okay, so if he's a computer person. Um. He might not be in a computer here. There haven't been any ships that just showed up. And we had some computer people that showed up in Proles, and they got stuck in cloned bodies. So something like that might happen here if he doesn't have his own body already.
no subject
I suppose. Computer person seems to be an apt description but--wait. Cloned bodies? What do you mean by his own body? He can't pilot a Warframe like I can so how would he get a body?
no subject
[Except, you know. Theon.]
I don't know how it works. I'm not a scientist, I'm just a soldier. But the scientists in Proles like grew bodies in vats like you can grow regular protein, right, and they were able to put the computer people like Delta and Sigma in those bodies. It was kind of weird for them at first, figuring out how to deal with stuff like needing to eat and piss, but they got it okay. So if that's what happens to your computer person friend, he'll be okay. Computer people are tough!
no subject
[No now he's actually afraid because the cephalon couldn't handle being alone let in a frame. He huffs angrily and rubs his face.]
Thank you for the information but I don't care if they're tough. I have to find him. He can't handle things like a proper cephalon at times and I don't want my partner scared and dysfunctional without assistance let alone assistance from strangers. So please how could I find him if he's here?
[Hey he's not angry at you Wrath per se and he did say please]
no subject
[She gets being anxious about friends. She still misses Maine, Whiskey, and Delta so much.]
I haven't heard of someone named Ordis in the fleet either so he might not be here. But uh. Put a broadcast on the network. Computer people are normally good with the network so he should hear you if you do that. And also look around on the Marsiva. Everyone new starts there, and then once a week you get sent out to the different ships in the fleet.
And don't worry, if you get put on a ship where you don't get along with the CO or whatever, you can transfer. If there is a CO you get along with. You don't seem like a fucking seagull like Theon.
But calm down and deep breaths okay. You're tough too, and it'll work out, just keep going.
no subject
I will. I'd tear this ship apart if I wasn't so stripped of gear but I certainly will look around and make myself known. More than likely he will. That or I'll hear him first. He's not exactly the most quiet cephalon.
But how in a week? That's almost no time. [Yup definitely crushed by that.] I'm glad to know I'm not like this Theon you know.
Thank you lieutenant.
no subject
If he's here, you'll find him. And if he's not... Well, people show up all the time, you never know. [North was here for a while, after all. The North she knew.]
They just like transport you into a random ship. With confetti! So it's kind of fun, and you get to meet your new crew and get settled into your job. You already have a job assignment if you think about it. Like I got assigned security, so I came in already knowing how to use all their weapons. And the ship weapons, which isn't as useful as you'd think if you don't have a pilot.
[Snort.] Not like their weapons are that fucking great or complicated. No plasma blades, my ass.
no subject
I'm only hoping that if this Atroma saw fit to drag me here then the cephalon would be as well. He's my partner [and a bit more softer and to himself] and the only good thing left in my life.
...that sounds rather jarring to be honest. I think I'm secruity as well? It's messy recalling things right now.
no subject
Oh. I'm really sorry. Hopefully he does show up.
I got brought here without my Partner. Maine. I... It really sucks. [Whoops, keep that morale up!] But you just have to keep on going, right!
Oh, cool. Okay, so whatever ship you show up on will have guns for you. It's kind of an easy gig. We've only had one real combat since I've been here and it was ship to ship and... Yeah. Kind of bullshit. So you mostly end up running drills for the civilians and making sure they don't accidentally shoot themselves in a real emergency. It's... Interesting? [Not the kind of fun she's in too, but... Be positive!]
We've got a range and a confidence course and some other useful training stuff set up on the Iskaulit that you can use one you're released from the Marsiva. The Iskaulit is the big shop in the fleet that everyone treats as common ground.
no subject
Interesting. They decided to take away my gear yet supply me with as you put it shit ones. That doesn't sound exactly smart. Civilian protection I can do. Training people though? Not too sure.
A confidence course? What about an obstacle course? To test out wall climbing and all? Or an endurance test? Do you have to prove your mastery of things here? [He'll remember that ship name though.]
no subject
I don't think they're trying to be smart or give us a good chance at being effective. This is a network show. Like... We've only had one major skirmish, right? At least since I've been here. Ships showed up out of nowhere, pitched battle, and they chased or dragged everyone into a nebula that fucked up our systems and we had to deal with that. No one actually got killed or seriously hurt. But... [She'll leave the implication hanging there, since she's still paranoid about saying that kind of thing directly. In that way, this is way too much like being at home.]
If you want I can work with you on training. It's actually a lot of fun! If you like people. And are patient. You just have to be kind and generous, and I know you must be a kind and generous person.
[Tenno, you are so fucked.]
Oh! Yeah, same thing. And there's some people around that are really good at hand to hand if you want to practice. Like Captain Romanov on my ship. And I was, but--I'm looking forward to getting back to that... Soon. [No, it's got to be soon. She believes in Beverly!] But there isn't any kind of standardized testing, though I'd say you should make someone show they're minimally competent before letting them into your armory, that's just good practice.
Ooh, maybe we could run a tournament on the Iskaulit some time, that would be so much fun!
no subject
[Regardless having almost no battles is unheard of to him. There's always someone to rescue or sabotage a ship or even steal important information. Still it sounds as though this one time was not pleasant for the lieutenant so he leaves it be.]
That would be appreciated. And it depends on someone's view. Some think Tenno to be diligent warriors or protectors while others say dishonorable mercenaries. Those are the two I mostly have heard. [So courses but no mastery tests. Weird.] That sounds like a good idea. A clueless idiot doesn't need access to a weapon.
A tournament? With duels?
no subject
[It is so hard to say mean things, even though she's angry and knows she has a right to be angry, and she isn't even sure why. Is that because she hates being mean, or for a more nefarious reason? She hates thinking like that too.]
Beverly said a lot of the neural enhancements they did on us aren't actually for what they said. And that's the reason I forgot a lot of shit. [Uncomfortable shrug.] And other things, but I'm not sure because I don't really remember.
Uh. Is where you're from a lot better?
Well if you protect people and you're doing your job and doing it well, that's the important part!
[When he says duels, it's like he just mentioned Christmas was coming. She lights up.] Oh that would be so awesome! We could do like... Different divisions so the competition is good and none of the regular unmodded people get completely flattened because that wouldn't be fun for them, and have like one where it's just balls out everything goes, no holding back. That would be fucking awesome!
no subject
[Oh that question is a bit tricky.]
I don't remember much from where I came from. The Orokin weren't interested in letting me or the others have a home due to our condition. Then after the Old War... [Yea don't deleve into that for now.] I guess the relays and the ship are the best to consider a home.
That would be great. Not everyone can match up with another let alone a more powerful frame. Much like Conclave. You seemed to have put some thought into this.
no subject
...your condition? Are you sick? My doctor's a really awesome doctor if you need help. [Hmm.] Though I don't know what an Orokin is either.
Is Conclave a fucking awesome time? Yeah, well, I think about stuff. Like how to keep morale up, since that's super important. Give people something fun that they'll still work for! And uh. Most of the soldiers under my command weren't modded at all. And I know there have got to be people around that are way more buffed up than me, it's not like I'm hot shit or anything. So I wouldn't want anyone to get like seriously hurt, or feel like they didn't have a chance.
no subject
It's controlled with the use of frames. Nothing to worry about now that I can control it. The Orokin were humans during a golden age but they're gone now and I'm glad for it.
It can be. Smart thinking on behalf of yourself and others. Last thing needed is things to go awry and actual injury or worse come from it.
no subject
Okay...
I ran a platoon when I was in the army. I like thinking up fun group training ops! But yeah, the medical here is pretty good, but better to just not make it an issue.
no subject
I'm glad to know someone with experience is here then. [Fun training though?] That seems to be for the best.
no subject
But if you need any help with anything just ask okay? We're all in this together! And I like helping people. [In reality, if she's not serving in some way, she feels awful.] And once you're off the Marsiva you can visit any ship by just using a little shuttle, all the ships in the fleet have them. I'm on the Windrose, just so you know.
no subject
I'll make sure to ask if I need any assistance. [Though honestly he'd rather take his chances before seeking someone else unless it was this lieutenant.] Windrose, got it.
well ok one last tag
