It hasn't been without its hurdles. But for the most part, the crew seems...nice? [ her voice pitches ever so slightly higher. as though she can't be certain. ]

What's the problem?

The Big Bad Atroma assigned us a captain, but that got challenged pretty early on. So we held an election before anyone of us really got to know one another -- and I'm not sour over the results [ actually, she'd voted for the eventual winner ] but I'm worried someone else might be.

That sounds way overly complicated. Also like mutiny. How did that happen?

[ladybro]

Egos. [ why else does anything happen? ] Once the votes were tallied, the then-captain remained the current-captain. So nothing's changed, except he was good enough to entertain the challenge in the first place.

[ and from a demanding teen, no less. one who treated the rest of her crew as little better than 'peasants'. ]

That can't be good for the overall mood of the ship, though.

Skywalker's a warm-hearted kinda guy. He'll ride it out. [ logan's got the short temper -- and she won't gossip so much as to speculate upon the fight that had happened just before she'd first boarded the blameless. ]

Some of it, but I think the captain bought the newest batch with the money she's earned.

[ she's joking -- and to drive that point home, she turns and smiles. there was no way she could handle living on the same ship as clint. ]

Eh, it's probably better you didn't. I'd hate to have to fight you for first mate status.

You think? [ a short laugh. the coffee percolates. ] I don't know. I guess if I was asked to be first mate, I wouldn't turn it down. On the Blameless, right? But -- I'm not in any rush to take responsibility.
