I do apologize. It just so happened that I left my world on a day I didn't happen to be on the battlefield. We'd just finished a campaign, you see, so I let the soldiers I was leading return home for a week or two for some much needed rest, so it wasn't necessary to have my armor or my sword on my person. In addition, having just arrived here, I haven't had a chance to purchase any other clothing as of yet. While that was out of my control, I already took the opportunity to look around inside the armory, and it seems there's armor provided in the case of a crisis. Even so, I assure you that purchasing proper clothing is a priority.

I do hope you aren't assuming I'm incompetent due to the failings of others who have filled the position in the past.

[Well, that was an earful. Greed listens impatiently at first, then gets sort of distracted when she starts talking about the armory, then only tunes back in when she says something about being incompetent. He would ask her to repeat part of it, but it didn't actually interest him all that much.]

I'm the captain of this ship, princess. So incompetent or not, I don't do freeloaders on this ship. You're going to have to show me there's more to you than that chip they shoved in your neck.

I hardly intend to be lazy, but quite honestly, I have nothing to prove to a man who finds it acceptable to be this rude to someone he has no real reason to dislike.

What do I care about information? Talk is cheap and you haven't given me a real reason to like you, either. This crew is going to need a lot more security than you just talking about how busy you were before you got here.
