Absolutely! [Sorey sticks a hand down the collar of his shirt to hold out the fabric, leaning closer to make it easier for her to reach.] Let me do yours, too. We can treat it like a crowning ceremony, like you're not allowed to do it to yourself.

Sure! I... [ A beat, as she ponders what to say. It feels like a verbal declaration is needed to make it like an official crowning ceremony. She reaches up to carefully pin the badge onto Sorey's clothing, shifting it slightly to keep it from tilting crookedly. ]

I hereby declare Sorey an honorary member of the Team World Literature Detectives.

[ That sounded good, right? Saying that entire sentence felt harder for her than memorizing their long team name. ]

[Sorey grins and snaps a hand up in a sharp salute.] Miss Elize, it is with the highest gratitude that I accept the position. I hope to only bring honor to the name of the Detectives.

[And Sorey plucks out the other pin, makes sure to buff it to shining on his own sleeve before unclasping it and holding it up.] Now for you! Where d'you want it?

[ A short giggle comes out as he salutes her. This is fun, acting out a mini-ceremony. She looks at the badge she had just pinned on him, admiring it. So shiny. ]

It looks great on you.

[ She pinches forward the ruffly collar on her dress, holding the bit of clothing out enough for him to pin on the badge. ]

Here's fine.

You got it.

[Sorey sticks a hand under Elize's collar to carefully pin the badge on and adopts an authoritative voice.] On this day, I bequeath unto Miss Elize Lutus this badge as a symbol of her everlasting endeavor to seek out and understand the mysteries of the universe. May she forever follow her nose and her heart to knowledge, truth and happiness.

[Sorey grins and sits back on his heels, puffing out his chest.] Nice. We totally look so official.

[ Those are some fancy words there. She's going to remember them and perhaps parrot them right back if they find another member for their little team. As he places the pin on her, she sticks her nose up a bit, looking pleased. ]

We're amazing!

[ All they did was pin badges on each other.

She copies him, puffing her chest out. Look at her, trying to reach the same level of nerdiness as him. ]

We really are, huh? [Sorey grins and cuffs her playfully on the chin.] I'm excited to learn about new worlds and places with you, Elize. And it's kind of fun having a club that's solely about learning what you don't understand.

[ She giggles, delighted. Almost a much better club than what the pinkist girls have in Sharilton. She still needs to find that pink emerald for them when she returns to Rieze Maxia... ]

If only there was some way to take these ships to our worlds. I'd like to visit yours and I could show you Rieze Maxia!

[ She liked learning about the seraphim... ]

I'd love to see it! I'd like to see a place where everybody already knows about spirits existing. I bet there's a lot of really neat history to get into there too.

I'd love to show you my world also, but maybe after we clean it up a bit. It's sort of a mess right now. We'll get it there though!

[ Milla should be able to tell him more, if they ever meet. Elize is still learning a lot about Rieze Maxia herself. ]
