[Ahsoka is just walking past the medbay when she spots the new arrival and senses the frustration in the Force around her. She pops her horned little head in.]

Hey there. You okay?

[fuga]

[ Glancing up, she frowns for a moment before she turns back to the things in front of her. ]

I am well. I am learning.

[resnipstance]

Oh! Good. I was worried you might have been sick.

You're medical, then?

[fuga]

I am not unwell. [ She leans back, tilting herself away from the supplies before she nods her head, once. ] It seems so.

[resnipstance]

I'm Ahsoka. One of the pilots. It's nice to meet you.

[fuga]

Ahsoka. [ She repeats the name as if it's magic, somehow, before she nods and lifts her head. She doesn't offer her hand or anything of the like; all she does is gaze, careful. ] I am Lauralae.

[resnipstance]

Lauralae.

Is this your first time in space?

[fuga]

Yes. [ The questions would normally bother her, but she is becoming accustomed to it - people ask her things and she has enough questions in response that it feels as though it is a fair trade. Sitting up a little taller, she frowns. ] It is not yours.

[resnipstance]

Nah, this is pretty normal for me. Well, minus the "being kidnapped and put on a reality holo-drama" part.

[fuga]

I would not imagine kidnapping to be usual practice for most. [ Sitting up, Lauralae pushes herself to her feet, leaving the bits and bobs she had gathered there for her to return to. ] But you know of space.

[resnipstance]

That's right. Back home I traveled in ships like this one all over the place. So let me know if you need any help with anything, okay?

[fuga]

[ The idea of asking for help pains her, but at the same time - ]

I had not heard of 'space' until I awoke here.

[resnipstance]

Yeah, that's pretty common here. Don't worry.

You should look up a girl named Sansa, actually. Sansa Stark. She's in the same boat. We're friends, but I'm sure she'd like someone to talk to from a similar background. Just a guess.

[fuga]

[ Lauralae nods, finally shifting and lifting her hands - covered in thin, silken gloves, but they look entirely opaque, black and dark - before she lowers her hood. Behind the curls of her hair are ears, once elven, cut and scarred from where she had taken a knife to the tip of them. She only lowers it so she can see better, but she knows that she is baring more than, perhaps, she would like to admit. ]

Sansa Stark. I will be able to speak to her through our devices?

[resnipstance]

[Sadly, the ears nor the knife marks mean anything to Ahsoka. She's seen so many different kinds of humans and aliens from so many different planets, she doesn't assume anything.]

That's right. Though, I think she prefers face to face contact. She's on the Blue Fish. You know, if you wanted to visit.

[fuga]

[ All the better; Lauralae would not talk about it and turn away if mentioned. Prickly as ever, all she does is nod. ]

I shall contact her. It must be shown that I mean no ill will.

[resnipstance]

[Ahsoka grins, amused.]

Geez, you're about as formal as her too. Are you going to call me "Lady" also? There's really no need.

[fuga]

[ She doesn't smile in return, but she does tilt her head a little. ]

No. [ Mostly because she doesn't feel like Ahsoka has earned the title. ] But I shall not be the one to cause fear when there need not be any. [ Not right now. ]

[resnipstance]

Fair enough.

Oh, I also do meditation classes in the morning on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On the Iskaulit. If you want to join.

[ And now she just looks even more confused. ]
