Who: Team PPBY (Closed)
Broadcast: None
Action: On the Starlight
When: Now-ish, probably
[A couple students from the future have shown up, and that future sounds terrible. Blake hates it when things sound terrible. But, she thinks, maybe if they know things in advance, whenever they go back home, they can change things. Make whatever happened to them and their friends a little less awful.
But it's not something to talk about where they can be overheard, she can tell that much. And, well, the ships, overcrowded as they are, aren't offering much in the way of privacy. So, instead, she's heading down to the Starlight. She spent some time investigating the underground here, after all. Where there are people, there's going to be some shady types, and where there's shady types, there's going to be hidden, quiet places to make deals unobserved.
Blake has spent some time staking out some of the quieter places, before finding a small building she's confident is unused. It seems like it used to be some kind of shop, but now it's just a conveniently-empty building with a few chairs for them. She's settling inside, before sending a communicator message to Yang, Penny, and Pyrrha, telling them the location, and a quiet route to get there, and hoping that they can all get there without attracting too much attention.]

She follows Blake's route instructions exactly, and while she's Penny and thus not the most stealthy of individuals, it's not like anybody is actually trying to stalk them come on Blake.
She does smile and wave when she shows up and sees Blake. ] Greetings, Blake! Am I the first to arrive? [ Makin' her way inside, finding a good seat to. Watch the entrance from. ]
no subject
[Look, some habits die very hard, especially when you're around friends who have evidently been traumatized by mysterious events.
She's noticing that seat Penny takes, though she doesn't say anything.]
Thank you for coming.

She's apprehensive not just because of that, though. It's also because she knows that Penny in going to be there, and while she was not opposed to the meeting... coming face to face with Penny wasn't going to be easy. But at the same time, she's steeled herself. If this is going to happen, it's going to happen, and she needs to take responsibility for her actions.
But that doesn't stop her from walking in, noticing that Penny is there, and staring at the floor because the floor is a very nice floor, really, as she tries to ignore the ball of guilt and terrible feelings that's taken up residence in her stomach.]
I hope I am not... too late, Blake.
no subject
She tries not to let any nervousness show, although she's probably not the best at hiding that. ] I do not believe you're late at all.
[ Yup. Completely normal. ]
Always latest to everything... ;_;
Hey guys.
Shoot, I guess I'm the last one?
no subject
Thank you for coming.
[And, because she's Blake, when there's an objective in front of her, she focuses on it like it's the dot of a laser pointer. So, no time to waste.]
Yang and I both arrived here immediately after her match with Team FNKI. We can tell something bad happened afterwards, but... We don't know what it is. Maybe if we know, we can do something about it. Can you tell us?
no subject
She glances up at Pyrrha. Then she turns her view to Yang. ] If we are simply discussing events you haven't experienced, I suppose the first "something bad" would actually be with... Yang's match against Mercury Black.
no subject
As far as we could tell, in the stands, you were so angry that you hurt Mercury after you had won. [Though she doubts it. Especially after everything that was said by Cinder in her ~grand speech~. It felt too much like a setup. And she doesn't think Yang would intentionally do that, anyway, even with what she had seen.] You claimed differently, however, Yang. You claimed that he had attacked you first, even if that is not what we saw.
no subject
Wait, I did what? What do you mean I hurt him?
no subject
[sorry yang :(]

Your team was disqualified from the tournament after that.

But, I-
that's not-
I wouldn't do that...
[She lets her voice trail off. I mean, what can she say? She didn't do it, but she's going to do it. Is she supposed to apologize for something that hasn't even happened yet? It's not fair.]
no subject
[She's getting a little ahead of herself, but she wants to... try to make some attempt at assuring Yang that she doesn't believe it. That there was something else going on.]

Maybe he said something. Threatened Ruby, or... something.
What kind of message?
no subject
[She stops, her voice wavering a little, before she starts to speak again once she can steel herself. It's obvious something happened, though, with how hard it's getting for her to control her feelings.]
After my fight with Penny, Cinder decided to use what happened against all of the kingdoms. To create as much discontent as possible. It was about how no one should trust our headmasters. She used everything that happened in the tournament as a way to prove her points. Cinder... wants everyone to distrust hunters and huntresses. She wants to ruin the peace our kingdoms have.
no subject
...I don't understand. Was it planned? How could she have been responsible for any of that? What would she have to gain?
no subject
Cinder? She's the one behind everything?

She had tried to prepare herself for this, but it wasn't coming as easily as she'd like. ]
Our fight... ended.... worse than yours had. [ Glance over at Pyrrha... then glancing back to the ground. ]
no subject
Much... worse. Accidental as it may have been, I—I'm responsible for Penny's death.
[As she went on with saying that, her voice continued to waver and she can feel the tears at the corners of her eyes. And she's prepared to leave if no one wants her around anymore, too. She understands the gravity of what happened.]
It... I did not mean for that to happen, but it does not make me any less responsible. Penny and I have already... spoken about it, but...
no subject
I know you did not mean for it to happen. And that does provide a little comfort...
[ She grips her own torso a little tighter, remembering what happened. It's too bad that she couldn't modify her own internal files, to erase that particular memory... ]
no subject
Penny did say what happened, before, but... I don't understand how Pyrrha of all people could be tricked into... killing.
