[Action]
Who: Leia, Logan, Laura, Kitty
Broadcast: N/A
Action: The Starlight Station
When: Nowish (but leaving it flexible)
[A small group of people who want to make bad life decisions have gathered in a more-or-less private space they scouted on the station. They're all recent-ish arrivals who don't like the idea of the augments, and certainly don't trust them.
They've heard stories about impossible impeding fear and unbearable pain, but they aren't easily stopped by either concept. Some things you have to see and do and know for yourself. Besides, they have mutants with healing powers and built-in hand-scalpes and one with the ability to disrupt electronics with a touch. Not to mention a woman with force abilities. What could possibly go wrong?]

By the time his claws are drenched in blood, he's already ready go for the throat. The final blast takes him in his left hand before it can make contact, scorching enough of his hand that the tip of three fingers are nothing but metal bones. He hisses and wrenches his right hand out of her and reels it back for a grazing cut designed to sever her head from her shoulders.
In all of it, he never hears Kitty.]

[It's not a thing she wants, but she'll do it if she needs to, and if anyone could survive it, Logan could. She's focused on him right now, but she can tell Leia is still moving at least. Still a live. That's something. In Marina she saw the woman throw around a few tables and chairs with her mind when she was angry. Maybe the adamantium and momentum made it too much for her here or maybe they didn't have the same powers or same control. A question for a time when they aren't all in immediate danger.]

But he heard her. And that part of Logan that was always there to be able to subtly guide his berserker state knew her as friend and not foe. Where Leia had been a stranger, Kitty's face was one ingrained in his memory - even if it was a different version of her.
It did not calm him, though he didn't immediately start trying to free himself. Instead he remained in place breathing labored, difficult breaths. Her blaster fire had been deep enough to impact his lungs and it was no easy thing breathing through them in their current state. He spat up blood even as the damage inside him was being repaired. The darkness was calming him, though every so often he would struggle yet never went so far as to actually try to throw her off him.]

She wants to shout at Kitty, but the burning sensation is twisting into something searing, spreading out in licks of pain from her stomach. If she didn't think it would make things worse, she'd curl in on herself, her arms around her torso. As it is, her legs are wobbling more and more beneath her, but she'll be damned if she's going to collapse.]

Logan, no one wants to hurt you. You're safe. [Ish. You know, other than the current imminent peril.] We're all friends here. Leia might not be sending you a gift basket anytime soon, but you can work on that if you just go back to being you now.
[She doesn't chance a glance to Leia, but it's not because she's not worried.]

[The teen pushed the chains off her and sat up, then stood in a nearly smooth motion, turning to survey the...well. Situation didn't quite seem an adequate word. It wasn't difficult for her to determine what had happened. Logan had gotten free, stabbed the woman with the gun, gotten shot, and then Kitty had restrained him the only way she could.]
[Her eyes narrowed as she considered Leia. She was still standing, or...in the process of falling at least, so whatever Logan had done hadn't been lethal, though the smell of blood coming off her was certainly setting off warning bells. Right then. Mission priorities, remove the immediate threat of Wolverine, then handle the injured woman if she wasn't dead. Ah, the joy of having 'mission parameters' hardwired into her personality...']
Make him tangible.
[Was her request (order?) to Kitty, her voice strong, certain again. Whatever the effects of the implants were, they stopped once 'chopping them out' was off the table, it would seem.]

Snap out of it, she tells herself a little woozily (whether from shock or blood loss, she isn't sure). You can't just fall over and give up because you can feel your blood running down your stomach.
The Force is the answer, she realizes. She could kick herself for not reaching for it sooner.
Luke! she screams--if thoughts can be said to scream--focusing as strongly as she can on the figure in the Force she knows better than any other. Once she realized she could always find him, if he was near enough to be found, he'd become a warm, consistent presence in the world around her. She's not sure how reaching out to him through the Force is supposed to work normally, but if he could call her back to the underbelly of Cloud City to rescue him, surely she can make him see where she's struggling to keep her feet. Luke!
It's a battle she loses, falling heavily to her knees and then trying to sit back. Her body is singing with pain, so much so that the only thing left is to focus on her brother and hope he hears her. Luke! Luke, come here!]

She hears the other girl fall. It sounds...controlled. Somewhat.] Hold on, Leia. [As if she'd be doing anything else. They just have to make sure Logan is neutralized. She doesn't want him loose on the station like this or taking another stab at Leia for that matter.
Once he's clear of solid objects she lets go. She doesn't have much choice in the matter anyway. Her phasing has limitations.]

Wordlessly he locks eyes with his clone and without words, Logan steels himself for what comes next. He hadn't reached a complete calm, but there was enough presence of mind to keep from attacking family. Precious seconds were provided before he would rise for retaliation.]

Calming like a day at the spa. [Since Logan isn't getting up she leaves him to Laura while hurrying to drop down next to Leia. There's a lot of blood. She puts a supportive arm on the woman's shoulder. And looking at her eyes and reaching to take her pulse to check the vitals.]
We need to get you a doctor. A healer? [She's realizing that for all her exploring and trying to learn more she really hasn't bothered to learn what happens when someone stabs you. Might have been a good move before this undertaking.] How are you feeling?
no subject
When Kitty comes over to her, Leia's looking down at her wounds with the expression of someone examining an interesting museum exhibit. The blood loss is enough that she's lost her usual edgy intensity in a crisis; at this point, she's just trying to stay somewhat upright and conscious.]
...Been better.
[Speaking sends a ripple of fire through her middle, and she doesn't have energy or inclination to hide it.]

[Satisfied, she rose again, moving over to where Kitty and Leia sat, crouching down again to check the injured woman over, sniffing the air a few times and listening to her pulse.]
You will need to see a doctor immediately or you will die.
[So comforting.]

I'm here to help. Her brother sent me.
[Rolling up her sleeves, she moves over and kneels down beside the injured princess.
If Laura objects physically, she'll find herself gently pushed aside with some assurances. If that doesn't work then Nomi will send her floating away in a bubble of telekinetic force, but hopefully that won't be the case. It's doable, but she'd rather not juggle a shield and healing at the same time.
Regardless of that though, Nomi gently reaches out and holds her palm over the bloody injury, a faint golden light radiating from her. It takes intense concentration though, so she will not be speaking much for the moment, but the wound is already beginning to seal up.
Uh. Hi. how's that for an entrance?]
no subject
She looks at Leia for any signal that this woman is a threat or conversely, a friend. Though the quick healing is speaking for itself.]
You called Luke? [Why, yes, she does know he's your brother. She also didn't hear any verbal calls during the fight and as focused as she was on Logan, she would have picked up on that.]

When the door flies open, Leia glances up. She knows Vima better than her mother, but no one could possibly mistake Nomi Sunrider for anyone but herself, even after only a brief meeting. She just about glows with self-assured capability--especially when one is bleeding out on the floor.
As Nomi kneels down before Leia, Leia mouths the words thank you to her. It's easier not to talk at the moment. In fact, it takes until Nomi's been working for a bit before she wants to risk another comment to Kitty. It's still painful--everything is, even with Nomi's help--but it's doable.]
The Force.
[To make it entirely clear, Leia sets a bloody finger against her temple. One of the few things she can do, Force-wise, and before now, she wasn't sure she could. It would probably be a more satisfying victory if not for the slowly closing holes in her body.]
no subject
[But nothing about the woman was immediately threatening, and neither Leia nor Kitty seemed to be afraid of her, so after a moment, the teen took a half-step back, close enough that she could move against the newcomer if she had to.]
[Her gaze shifted towards the injured woman again, then Kitty, who seemed to know more about what was going on.]
...She is telepathic?
[That was unexpected. And a little unnerving...]
no subject
[He doesn't look at the one girl in the room he doesn't know, but he answers her question all the same:] No, she's a Jedi.
[And he couldn't be more proud. He kneels next to his sister, and puts his hand in hers. His voice is soft:] Leia? I'm here now.
no subject
We're not telepaths.
[She looks up, sweat beading on her forehead, focusing on Laura.]
Don't worry. We can communicate with one another, through the Force. Reading thoughts isn't something we can do to the unwilling.
[Her eyes turn to Luke and Leia.]
She's stable, I'll do what I can, but this wound isn't going to heal quickly. Feels like a vibro-scalpel.
no subject
But the answer comes quickly and with it a fresh pang of guilt seeing Luke. He's been nothing but kind to her. Too kind at times. She was the reason the four of them were together here today that led to the stabbing. Oh, other combinations may have made bad life choices, but she made it a party.]
Thank you. [She says it to Nomi with a nod. She sees the sweat. It must be straining to heal someone else. If Leia hasn't called for help on the Force Kitty would probably still be on the network trying to get someone down here in the time this took. She glances from Leia to Luke to Laura before stepping back toward the other person in the room and crouching down beside Logan. There's a lot of blood, but everything is in the process of knitting itself back together. She reaches down to brush some of his hair back from where it flipped forward on his face.]
no subject
Claws...actually.
[She winces with every movement, but at least she can speak--Logan could easily have punctured a lung if he'd wanted to. Speaking of whom, her gaze moves past Nomi and Luke to Logan, lying prone on the floor. Let Kitty see to him. She's not sure she's up to anything at this point besides falling asleep.]
no subject
We were attempting to remove Logan's augment. [She explained as the question of what had stabbed Leia came up. It gave her something else to focus on for a moment. She absently started to wipe the blood that was still covering her hand off on her pant leg.]
He did not react to it well.
