My tree, yeah. It wasn't very large, for a tree at least. Young, and stunted due to its circumstances. But I was able to watch it grow taller than myself.

That sounds pretty special. I wish there were a place for something like there here.

I do think it was special. I spent a lot of time with it. I talked to it when there was no one else. That tree knows many secrets.

[And the quality of his voice is fond, but Kaworu has to pause. When he was taken away from that world and deposited into this one, Fourth Impact had nearly happened. There's a good chance that the tree is destroyed. The piano, too.]
