[As is common with new arrivals, there are a few very confused moments of waking up and scrambling around before the Fleet's newest arrival manages to find and switch off the nearest camera.

About half an hour later and significantly less panicked-looking, he switches it back on. Some quality time spent with his augment answered the pressing questions, like where am I and why aren't there any weapons here, and that he's not going to get an answer to are my friends okay without a little further input from him. So. If they're here, he reasons, they'll recognize him.]

Shouldn't there be more people here? Or do I get to be the only lucky winner this week?

Yeah, it is. Some of them are from thirty years ago, some of them more like fifty. There's one girl from only like ten years ago, but I think she's one of those different timelines, cause what she's talking about doesn't sound right to me at all.

Sorry. That's rough. Big gaps too. [She knows how much difference a day can make. Entire decades? It's almost like not even having people from home.] Do you know any of them. Personally. [Adding the last bit since he already mentioned Luke but it wasn't like they were ever bros.]

Yeah, I do. One of them in particular I spent a lot of time with.

[Finn frowns, remembering exactly how he saw Han last before waking up here.]

I think he's happier when he's younger.

That's... I don't know what that is. [Sad?] Better to be happy at some point than no point I guess.

A lot can happen in thirty years.

[Which is becoming his default evasive answer, but then, he doesn't exactly want to get into detail about it.]

I wouldn't know. [Okay, of course she would. She's just another decade away from thirty. But her world has been flipped upside down and turned inside out enough times that she feels like she's on lifetime number four or five by now.]

So, you set for now? Any other questions while I'm feeling generous? [Not that this is actually an imposition on her. She likes having people to talk to and, yes, even help.]

I'm starting to get a pretty good idea.

[He smiles a little.] I'm getting there. Should I really try to stockpile food while I'm on the Marsiva or are they exaggerating about how bad it is on the hips?

Stockpile. [Smiling back.] You're used to space travel, so you might like it just fine, but if nothing else you can trade the Marsiva stuff for something you want more.
