Hey guys! I have a bit of a weird question for you today.

Did anyone by any chance stock up on apples before we left the Starlight? Or... apple puree, maybe? Or, um. Apple-anything-not-in-a-protein-cube? It's important. I promise.

I'd be willing to trade you credits or food from the Starstruck in exchange. We have a lot of dried and frozen meat. Like. A lot.

On an unrelated-but-not-really note...

Does anyone know how to make apple pie?

I wouldn't have known either, but I happened across someone else's memories of it a few months ago. From what I understand, it's a sort of cake-size pastry. There's a crunchy base on the bottom, with warm apple filling in the middle, and then more pastry on top!

And that's all I really know.

Why the sudden interest in Apple pie, though?

Apparently it's something of a signature dish from a region of the planet Earth. I was hoping I could make it to cheer someone up.

Earth seems so varied. You know they use spice in their cooking? A non narcotic variety.

That planet just gets weirder and weirder every time I hear about it.

Seriously. I tried this flavoring called Pumpkin Spice, and it was unique. The name threw me, but I was assured it was no hallucinogen.

What did it taste like...?

A little zesty, but sweet? I don't quite know how to describe it, honestly.

I've never had anything similar, but it certainly wasn't bad. A lot of Earth food seems...interesting.

I guess they have to get inventive, since it seems like they're pre-spaceflight.

Well by the sounds of it, there's a varied climate, so there's that much going for them at least.

Makes you wonder though, why this group is so Earth-centric...except for us.

You know, if I had to guess? I would say yes. At least, I'd say that there's a connection between the Atroma and humanoids. I've not seen a single species represented here that wasn't human, or human like.

No, you're right. There isn't a single non-humanoid species here. It's definitely strange.
