[The background area of the video feed looks very much like the empty hospitality deck Marsiva. And not unusual for newcomers, the network doesn't seemed to be noticed right away. Instead the boy on the other side looks more startled at his new surroundings. Because you know, it's not every day you wake up in SPACE]
Hello?!
[Yep. A completely empty ship. This is definitely creepy. He takes a few steps away from the camera, looking around and calling out]
Simba...! [a pause] Oh c'mon, this is no time to be messing around!
[And of course, there's no response. When he speaks again, he sounds more uncertain] ...Simba? ...Anybody?
[Then when there is still no response and he starts to become very sure he's alone, he rubs his arms and keeps eyeing the place warily as he mutters:] Great. Now what do I do?

Did he know him from somewhere? His memory from Paradisa is still pretty fuzzy at best, but...
He does look familiar. He just can't place the name.]
Memory's a bit fuzzy. [He'd put his money on the augment, but he could be just chasing theories at that point.] But you're that one kid.

[He can't help but be a bit dry] Well that's specific.
[Not that Sora gave anything more specific himself, but hey!!!!]

[He falls silent, trying to search his memory.]
...Sora or Roxas or something, wasn't it? [He frowns. Those names at least sound like he's on the right track.]
Moonbay would probably remember you better.

[Yeah okay, the mention of that one name? Completely makes him zero in on it like absolutely nothing else matters. Because there's no way someone could guess that name]
Hold up- you know Roxas?!

[He frowns, a bit more startled at the reaction than his level expression has intends to show.]
He the spiky, blond-haired kid? I only saw him around. If that's who you mean, he's not here, far as I know. [He hasn't been around here that long.] He's at least not on my ship.
[He remembers seeing (and hearing) him fool around with the kid that's currently in front of him.]

[Which considering at the canon point he's at, he hasn't heard from Roxas since that night? This is big big news - and he's looks absolutely overwhelmed with happiness]
- That's him! That's gotta be him! [No one else could match that description, as far as Sora could see. And okay, the fact that he's not on that ship is a let down, BUT-] Where did you see him? Was it in Union? Outside-? Where?

Though there's a strange disconnect that he can't put his finger on. "Union?" That term doesn't trigger anything for him. But his memories of Paradisa are fuzzy. Like radio static. He does remember seeing them around the castle together, though. He can't remember really interacting with them—but they were kids. He also remembers.. a picture on the journal system, he thinks? A drawing?]
I mostly saw him around the castle. Not sure where else you'd expect him to be. Couldn't stray too far outside the walls unless you wanted to try your luck.

[He mulls it over, but maybe that's just some sort of fancy slang for something in Union? Either way, it means his brother is in Union. And that was the important part. There's just no WAY it could mean anything else. Yep.........]
Hmmm..okay! I'll just have to look there when I get back! [...] Whenever that'll be!

But this kid's brother was there. So he guesses that's a good of a reason as any to want to go back. Maybe if one of the lucky few he cared about was back there, he'd be hoping to go back, too. But he doesn't have to worry about that.]
Your guess is as good as mine on that one. All I'm sure of is it'll be never up to us.
