[The background area of the video feed looks very much like the empty hospitality deck Marsiva. And not unusual for newcomers, the network doesn't seemed to be noticed right away. Instead the boy on the other side looks more startled at his new surroundings. Because you know, it's not every day you wake up in SPACE]

Hello?!

[Yep. A completely empty ship. This is definitely creepy. He takes a few steps away from the camera, looking around and calling out]

Simba...! [a pause] Oh c'mon, this is no time to be messing around!

[And of course, there's no response. When he speaks again, he sounds more uncertain] ...Simba? ...Anybody?

[Then when there is still no response and he starts to become very sure he's alone, he rubs his arms and keeps eyeing the place warily as he mutters:] Great. Now what do I do?

[No time to be messing around? Is he expecting a prank?]

Are you okay over there?

[Well by now, he's talked to enough people so he's starting to get a gist, and starting not to panic. Still-]

Well, uh-

[Sora was never a great liar. Not only that, but it doesn't help that he has a rather freaked out look on his face- and oh yeah, by now he's surrounded by several light fixtures that look like they've been blown up, with the shards on the ground in the background]

-- Y-Yeah! I'm fine!

[Expression turns very amused at the scene.]

What have you been doing over there? Let's hope the fleet isn't going to charge a repair bill.

It was an accident!

[Yep, the immediate defense. Then, it's followed by worry.]

- Wait. They wouldn't actually charge me, would they?

I couldn't say. I've mostly kept things fixed up, not the other way around.

Anyway, I actually don't know what policy they have on that. I wouldn't be too surprised, though -- we apparently went through some things like accounts being frozen over cargo before, so there's some fishy things that go on.

[...]

[There's a pause as he slowly checks his pants pockets]

...Well, I don't have any money, so....

[

]

[Resting her chin in her hand and snorting.]

Don't worry about it. I'm sure we can fix it.

Besides, I don't think they do currency conversion here.

Whew, that's a relief.

[Different currency...right. That's a thing.]

Ha- so how would I get money anyway?

[She's still learning money, to be honest, but she's pretty confident she's got this.]

Supposedly? Be entertaining. So possible repair bills aside, you might be on the right track already.

Pretty sure, for now. But I know we've got people trying to come up with a solution, and if I can find some tech to help, I'll get right on it myself. Don't take it as being stuck here -- we'll find a way.

Yeah...yeah you're right.

[He rubs his head then nods, feeling a bit of his old determination coming back]

We'll get outta here. It'll just take some time.

Exactly. Like the old saying goes, "do or do not, there is no try." We'll figure it out, it's just a matter of figuring out how.

We learn something right once in a while. It might take a little trial and error.

[She spends a lot of time away from her parents. It's unusual to be away from her twin, and that gets a little bit of a frown for a moment -- but only a moment. She knows he's fine. She can feel it.]

My dad's here, actually. And there's a few other relatives around. It's a bit of an odd situation, since I've had to introduce myself to all of them.
