[The phone is only turned on when it is dropped on the floor, giving an odd view of Tyrion from the bottom up, where he is fastening expensive looking boots onto his feet. They are oddly made as well, almost as if they are to be made to work as braces instead of just fancy looking footwear.

Which, to the medically astute, they are. Yes, Tyrion had boots made to help support his rather crooked legs. That should tell you that the variety of odd jobs he's working is profitable indeed.

A small hand reaches down to pick up the phone, seeing the freshly shaven face of Tyrion, who eyes the device with a sigh.]

... Right, well, I am going down to the planet, if anyone is interested in joining me. Shuttle leaves in fifteen minutes. I hope no one took the time to look up my skirts.

[The faintest of smirks, before he shuts down the thing.]

You caught me. This was a first. [Pause.] I think. Live a dangerous and strange enough life and things have a way of coming up. But I think I usually end up doing the courting if you want to call it that.

She is ... a little bit of both, I think. Or fated, which might be the more dangerous option.

Besides, maybe I'm just better at knowing what I want and going for it. [Of course she has terrible taste so this usually turns out tragically, but the point stands!]

I do have my moments ... and I have noticed at least one of those. You are quite witty, which I enjoy immensely. Further acquaintance would have to be had for me to assess your other non-physical attributes. After all, one can only learn so much from one of these conversations, yes?

[Amusement flashes through his mismatched eyes.] See, now I know that you are determined, and you are your own woman.

[That gets a smile.] You know, as luck would have it, I'm trapped with this fleet, so I'll be around.

Which ship do you engineer? [It may sound more forward than intended with the context. She's still trying to put faces with ship names since she's only been around a couple of months.]

Well isn't that fortunate? So am I.

[He smiles in turn, before he gestures about him.]

I am currently the single engineer on the Good Ship First Breath. I do, however, make ship calls if someone needs a competent engineer.

[That gets a soft laugh.] I think the Vision has us covered. Androids tend to be pretty good with tech. I'm not bad myself, but they decided I should be a pilot. [And it seems being augment-less is a disadvantage even for the technically inclined.]

I don't think I know anyone on First Breath. Not well at least. Until now of course.

The Vision ... that is the gentleman with the painted red face, correct? [He has seen him on the videos.] How are you as a pilot?

There you have it. You now know me.

[There's something of a laugh.] I don't think paint is actually involved, but yes, that's the guy.

And I'm a perfectly decent pilot. I've only ever flown into something on purpose and that wasn't with the fleet. [So there was some pre-augment experience even if she was never exactly a pilot. No certification of any kind. Civilization was kind of over that by then.]

I'll start the book on your life's story soon.

[Tyrion's eyes widened a touch, as he tipped his head to one side.] Are you saying that his face is ... naturally that hue? [Well by the Seven.]

Very good. I have had none of this heavy engineering experience -- but I find I enjoy it immensely.

[Now he's smiling.] I insist that you leave in all the horrible parts. Otherwise no one will believe it's about me.

[She whispers this part like it's a secret.] People do come in different colors. [And if you're from her world this means the entire crayon box even if she's perfectly aware it's still rare to be red or blue or green.]

I'm guessing you're from a world where blacksmiths are still a thing like Jon Snow? [She's not even really suggesting they're from the same world. She just remembers how he asked her about blacksmiths when he arrived.]

I might even add in a few extra ones. [Fear her prose!]

Well yes -- but rarely have I seen a person come in bright red ... unless they were covered in blood. [Green or blue would be a bit harder.]

Actually - Jon Snow and I are from the same world. [He looks pleased.] Do you know him?

[Now that gets her a laugh.] I cringe to imagine what wicked things you will have me doing in my own life story.

I guess you haven't talked to either of the Kurts yet.

[She nods.] We talked a couple of times. [She has a favorable opinion though not a strong one.] I guess that means you're from Theon's world too. My condolences.

[She smirks.] I guess I'll have to figure out the real, wicked things first. [Even if this joke started because she was pretending to already know him well.]

I cannot say that I have - what color are they?

[And now, he will be making a face.] Ah, you are sadly acquainted with that gutter snipe. My condolences as well.

[He tips his head into a bow, smiling.] I only share those stories over several glasses of wine.

From what I can tell he makes poor life choices like it's a training exercise. Are there other people from your world here? [She feels like this fleet gathers people in groups more than the prison did, but maybe she just thinks that because there are so many X-Men around.]

I'm game as long as I'm not buying for both of us.

I rather imagine your world must be like the most vivid colors of a painter's palette.

[Tyrion mused, before he snorted.] Yes - he does. There are a few others - thankfully no one from my family. Starks, for the most part.

Fair enough, I shall supply the wine if you supply the company.

That's a nice way of putting it. [She manages not to add that it's often splashed in blood like he mentioned before. She can keep a conversations light. Really!]

Are you thankful because you wouldn't want them to be prisoners here or the less flattering version? [She would love to see her family again, but she knows they can be very damaged things.]

Deal. The Málum? It's one of the bars on the Iskaulit I think. [She hadn't really spent any time in the bars there. Mostly on the station.] Might be hard to drink through a mask on the planet. [Not that you'd really have to indoors, but she didn't love the place.]

I have been told I have an excellent turn of phrase. [He tipped up a little smile.]

[He snorted softly.] The least flattering version there is. [He would like talk about shoving them off a cliff.]

I will happy to meet you there ... and we should probably keep to the indoors if we are going to be drinking, I think.

I'd ask what they did to earn that, but it's probably more of a wine question. Speaking of, is this a loose plan for a vague future date or should I be blocking out specific time? [She's completely find with either really. She's been taking things as they come so far. She can't seem to decide if she's crusading for escape or just playing at it as she gets to know people here.]

That is definitely more of a wine question ... and let me ask you, would you like to block out a specific time?

This may shock you, but I don't have the busiest schedule. It's mostly just "be abducted by aliens" every day from now until "stop being abducted by aliens date to be determined." But I could do tomorrow.
