Not exactly the vacation getaway I might have hoped for. It feels more confining than liberating. [And she always feels gross returning from it.]

Know what you mean. I can't stay down there very long. Feels like all that pollution is sinkin' into my bones.

And all the gear you have to wear. [Which is different from home, but also there was something dehumanizing about it that reminded her of some of Apocalypse's troops. It's not a fun mental comparison to be making.]

A little bit. But more of a playtime warzone. I don't get why you'd want to play at war though. [She finds the concept insulting. Training she understands, but this?]

Me either. Guess it’s better than real war though. Maybe that’s what they’re figurin’.

It is. I don't think they'd do it if they really knew what real war was, but who knows. [People are all different. She can't even say other X-Men from her world wouldn't enjoy it.]

Humans are capable of some pretty dumb shit. You never know.

That's a good point. Either way, it's not really for me. I like playing chess though.

I've never been very good at chess. You've probably figured out by now that strategy ain't exactly my thing.

Well, you have other strengths. And chess can be fun, but it can also be kind of stressful depending on the other player.

Yeah people always get too competitive about stuff like that.

Probably wise. But at least I don't cheat at it the way I do with cards?

I wouldn't know even if you were. I hardly ever play cards of any sort.

I wouldn't do it like that then. I just used to play with some boys who made cheating part of the game. Seeing who could out-cheat the others. [She can be competitive and challenging, but duplicitous isn't her thing.]
