[Y'all, Misty can't be the only one who hates this place, so let's all gather on the Iskaulit, safe from all that dark and rot down on the polluted moon and have ourselves a good time!

I'm not sure I even know what normal is anymore, so you're safe. I'm just a totally normal girl who was a little above average in school. {Genius.] And who walks through walls. [And who has been honing fighting skills for years.]

I was above average in school too - [ kind of a genius, yup ] except for PE. I was below average enough to balance the rest of it out.

[ why is he telling her this? she already knows he's an uber nerd, there's really no need to keep hammering it in. he's going to blame the booze. ]

...and I can walk into walls?

They let me out of PE since I was taking so many before and after school dance classes. And that way I got to take more academic classes which I was excited about. [See? It's okay. Nerds unite.] And if I keep drinking I might walk into a wall too. [Okay, she'd need a decent amount more before that would really happen.]

Unfortunately they didn't recognize lugging AV equipment as PE, so I was stuck with it.

[ but really they should have, not everything had wheels and some of it was heavy ok! ]

Yeah I may cut myself off - drinking and shuttling sounds like something that would be a no-no...

We could go hang out somewhere else on the ship for awhile and sober up. [She's not really in a hurry to leave his company.]

Smart -- [ he points at her with a smile ] There's that above-averageness!

[ it's not that he means to go right now, just that he probably shouldn't have a third drink that might persuade him that a fourth is a good idea. he's enjoying her company more than he could say. ]

[She laughs and isn't making a move to go yet either.] It would take an above average person to see my above averagenessitivity.

The average above-averagers are attracted to above-averageness. [ he has no idea what he's saying anymore. ]

[Gasping.] Are you attracted to me? [Playing of course.]

No, on my earth kissing is a sign of repulsion.

That's so awkward for us since I think you're really cute. [She means the last bit though.]

That works out just fine, I thrive on awkward.

[ he sure hopes she does. ]

[She does not. But she can deal.] I'm adaptable. Though I'm extremely disappointed I called you really cute and didn't get a blush or fluster. I've lost my touch.

It's the -- [ holding up the glass and pointing to it with his other hand. ]

What? It made you immune to me? That's so unfair.

You're just gonna have to up your game.

[ he's not even close to immune to her, as the slight flushing she's causing him now reveals -- because her wanting to cause it is apparently blush worthy enough. ]

Ugh, such work. [She doesn't actually seem put out by it. She does slide over to his side of the table though and then looks at him from right next to him.] Hi.

[ blink blink. he responds with a goofy grin. ]

I'm going to kiss you in public again now. [She reaches up to put a hand on his cheek and brings the lips in.]
