[Y'all, Misty can't be the only one who hates this place, so let's all gather on the Iskaulit, safe from all that dark and rot down on the polluted moon and have ourselves a good time!

I'll update my list of people to feel bad for, but don't mind me okay? I have orphan issues I guess.

That's not unreasonable.

No. I don't think so. For all that we agree on, there is a lot where we don't. He might stay and help. But it's not . . . his vision.

...Maybe he'll come to see it's importance. He did once. [She'd like to see that happen again. Probably more than she should. It's hard trying to rebuild your family with pieces that don't fit quite the way they used to.]

[ Charles has reconciled their differences in his mind for the most part. Trying or expecting Erik or Raven to stay and support Charles' dream is cruel and unfair to all of them. They've all made allowances, learned from each other's mistakes. They've come so far.

But a part of Charles is still hurt by what happened. The abandonment coupled with the frustration of losing his legs and having the pain resonate in his powers, in Cerebro until it ate away his hopes. Right now, he has Erik and Hank and he's lucky. But he also knows it won't last.

To her reply, he simply exhales quietly. ]

It was a desperate time for him. I think he should explore his options.

Hell of a thing waiting for the end of the world before making the right call. [She believes pretty firmly in the dream even if she still wanted to walk away from it once herself. Maybe twice. She still doesn't have much of a path for herself here.]

He's always had a flair for the dramatic.

Definitely. I mean a helmet and a cape? Come on.

[Oh god what? Good thing she's not the mind reader here.]

I really despise that helmet.

The cape isn't much better either.

And why is the cape so big? [At least it is in her world.] Is it like a ride along blanket for secret mission naps? I would be tripping all the time. I would be unphasing too soon and getting it stuck in things. I'd be like a comedy act.

His last one was asymmetrical. You could tell he designed it himself and thought it was a perfect job.

Did he get really defensive about it? Oh! And he had this collar-yoke design thing with all these faux bolt things on it. He wore it, got his wife to wear one, and a couple of other people wearing it too. Like the X isn't enough branding.
