[ In her video transmission, Kara has her blonde hair up in a messy topknot, wearing standard-issue clothes. She pushes her glasses up the bridge of her nose and looks a little sheepish ]

Um. Hi! Sorry to send this to everyone... Well, I had a question I wanted to pose to everyone but then another thing came up and...

Does anyone know how to reattach a door to a washing machine? I had a little mishap... and I still have a lot of laundry to get done. Anyway, it'd be awful if I didn't at least ask how to put it back the way it was.

The second thing is completely unrelated. Does anyone else feel really weird about wanting friends or family to show up? I don't think I'd wish this experience on anyone against their will, but as long as we're going to be here... it'd be nice to have familiar faces, don't you think? How do you deal with the conflict?

And is there any way to request they bring crullers with them?

[ kara recognizes what a leap it is for kitty—she hasn't known her long, but she's really not terrible at reading people. she steps forward to give kitty a good hug—strong, but not too strong. confident and empathetic, paying attention to when Kitty is done with the hug ]

[She's a little stiff at first, but she puts her arms around the other girl and hugs back after a few moments.] I died in the battle that took out the first Apocalypse. I've known for the last year. [It's not new information she needs hugs for. Finding out her team is gone in a much more tragic way than she ever imagined was more than enough to stir the emotions. She just figures it's easier to tell Kara this when she's not actually looking at her.]

[ kara is reasonably upset about this info, but she's trying to keep the focus on kitty. she just has to hear it, kitty had to live (and die) it. she does have some trouble really formulating an answer for a moment, though ]

[That's how Kitty felt when Kurt was telling her about it. He was there suffering the losses in person, but she still crumbled and even cried on his shoulder when she should have been looking after him.]

He's from the future too, but...I guess he'd have to be. [Her point stops where it stops. She hugs a little longer just in case Kara could use it after what she just said, but finally she pulls back and gestures to the bed. It's the only place to sit and there's not much room for standing.]

[ gives her a squeeze before going to sit. despite her best efforts, she's a little misty ]

Do you think it's better to know?

I'm glad Kurt's not carrying it alone. [Is that the same thing? Maybe she would have been happier with the scenario she'd decided on before his arrival. They successfully reset the timeline and it resulted in the world the Logan here is from, which doesn't sound like a perfect world, but a much, much better one than she left behind.]

It was my team, not...everyone. [Just everyone who meant something to her. Not like Krypton. Kara really did lose everyone and everything. Earth would find a way to live on.]

More could show up, couldn't they?

[ she knows the danger of suggesting this. but kitty actually showed up ]

Anything's possible. Not sure how permanent that is either. [Not that life is permanent either.]

I know. I just don't want to be that person no one invites over because I just talk about how everyone I know is dead. [Or more seriously the person who never moves on because she's focused on the past.]

If I feel like you're dwelling too much on it, I can just talk about how my planet blew up because of bad decisions my parents made. Then we'll be even, promise.
