[When the video feed starts, it displays a large room inside the Iskaulit, covered in snow and... dog toys. A lot of them, actually. And there's a single fox romping around in the snow, as well.]

Hi, everyone. It's Nightingale. This post was just to say that the fox park on the Iskaulit is now finished and open for anyone to come let their foxes out to play, since they probably need to, and this is obviously not a good planet to bring pets to. On a related note, if I find out anyone's bringing their foxes down to poison planet down there, I'm going to punch you as hard as I can.

[The video then cuts out, without ever actually showing Nightingale, but the audio keeps going.]

... And on an unrelated note. Can anyone tell me about weird physical transformations happening here? Do those happen often? Are those related to our augments? And how long do they last?

Not yet. My best guess is the augment, since it's responsible for fucking us over in all the other ways, but... I've been working on more pressing concerns in the meantime.

[The augment can do things like that? Yeah, no regrets about trying to get them out. Okay, still the Leia getting stabbed regret, but otherwise there was no way she couldn't have tried.]

Would the Atroma send...something? I know they send blood pills for vampires if you request them. [Does she want to think about what human pills would be?]

[it's amazing that her filter has gotten good enough that she didn't just blurt out the incredibly morbid thought she had about that.]

I've still got some meat from Arslae I haven't cooked yet, so I'm hoping I can use that and trick this body until I change back.

There is hunting on the moon too. Doesn't seem like a good idea to eat anything from there unless you don't think it would bother harpy physiology though.

Yeah, my healing magic is not high enough level to handle poison. Also, I really don't want to have exposed wings or anything down there, so... I'm staying as far away from this planet as I can.

... Kind of figures, though. Flying is about the one thing that could make this worth it, and there's nowhere I can go to fly now,

[Kitty might have volunteered to hunt for her and bring it back, but if she can't filter the poison anyway there's no point.]

It does seem like that part could be fun. I mean, I've ridden with people who fly and air walked but it's not the same.

It is ridiculously fun, I have to admit. If I could switch back and forth when I wanted to rather than just being stuck as a harpy, I wouldn't even mind being a monster sometimes, it's that fun.

How long were you like this last time?

About half a day. But last time, we managed to collect an antidote and took it pretty quickly. Or, rather, instead of collecting it, Ratatoskr gave us the piece of the antidote we were missing. Still, we changed back slowly over half a day after taking it.

So you know what's in the antidote?

Aconite was part of it.

That's the only part we got on our own. I was... a little too far gone by the time Gloss and her team helped us, so... Yeah.

Too far gone? Are you going to lose control if you stay in this form?

... Probably not? I haven't had any trouble with the instincts right now, and there's nothing here to force that effect on me like last time.

That's a plus. Is there a plan in place in case that changes? You know, since you probably weren't expecting any of this.

Not sure. I don't think anyone's tested it yet.

In my home world, you resurrected, just a little bit weaker. And in my last shithole, our teams had patrons who could bring us back. But here... Hasn't happened, I think.

Really? Over a year here and no deaths?

That's...impressive I guess. Do you think it's the general lack of danger or maybe the augment curbing tendencies? [Death would be ratings though, wouldn't it? Also, this is hardly the time, Kitty. More immediate problems!]

No deaths that I know of. It's an important distinction.

... I don't know, though. At the castle, we didn't really have a choice but to kill someone else or be killed, around one every week. I guess it's the lack of being pushed to that?
