[ And the video flickers on, the red light glowing softly. It focuses on two men. One in a wheelchair and the other right next to him, peering curiously at the camera before they step back satisfied. ]

Well, that’s over and done with. Hello to anyone who might be out there. My name is Charles Xavier and this is Hank McCoy. Apparently we’ve been kidnapped again, by an unknown force again for some mysterious reason.

Mm, I hope so too. At least it's something I'm familiar with.

I don't imagine the medical side of it should come into play too often... Unless people are foolish enough to traverse this planet without their mask.

I really hope they aren't that stupid. [he pauses, then sighs] But I'm sure there's a few out there.

With any luck, they won't be on your ship.

I assume you've had many of your immediate questions answered, but do you have any others I can assist you with?

Heh, I'm not that lucky.

Not . . . that I can think of at the moment? It's been - a lot so far.

There's, uh - people here who know me, but I don't know them? And then there's people I know, but they're not - the same person. If that makes sense?

A different future entirely - or a different world, entirely. It's a future that will never happen for me. [he's certain of that]

I've been told the me from their world has done . . . terrible things. [he doesn't want to go into detail, mostly because it isn't his place, but also because he doesn't want to think about it too much] He's a monster.

In - the other, there's the X-Men, and Erik isn't on our side - and that's pretty different from how things are for us.
