[ And the video flickers on, the red light glowing softly. It focuses on two men. One in a wheelchair and the other right next to him, peering curiously at the camera before they step back satisfied. ]

But - I'm a scientist, so if someone was interested in learning about one of the sciences. I'm good with technology as well, and building things. [he shrugs, pauses, then quickly adds] I have to catch up, in a manner of speaking, but I'd planned on doing that anyway.

[Octavia pauses, then shrugs. Sure, why not.] Okay, science at me.

[he blinks. And - stares. He doesn't mean to, but it's very rare that people actually tell him to do that. Usually they're telling him to shut up instead]

By all means. [but at the question he sort of - makes a face] You'd be looking forward to a long list that sounds like bragging. [which he hates] But I have PhDs in genetics and biochemistry - those were my specialties, to narrow it down.
