today, the pale pink silks are tainted, as well as the usual fair skin with a mixture of dirt, mud, leaves and at least three colors of paint. ]

I do believe I won against the locals in their odd little paint game. I find it quite brilliant if a little bit of a hazard if one is very attached to their clothes.

I offer a different game of chance. some smallfolk in my realm say that one can tell someone's future and their traits according to the palm of their hands. I was told it is all false but.

[ she's wearing some of the clothes she got at their last station: a crimson henley, dark pants, and kneehigh hunting boots ]

You look way better. I feel like I should change into something fancy just to hang out with you.

[ she touches the end of her braid and smiles ]

[ luckily, the tour is pretty brief. kitchen, bridge, and katniss' room, where katniss invites her to sit on the bed ]

It's one of those things that if you know how to do a basic three strand braid, it won't be that hard to get the hang of. It's mostly technique.

[ said as she undoes the little hair do she had, part of it drawn back and held back. ]

I have been braiding my cousin's hair for years yet I never managed one so beautiful nor have I ever seen any other lady who had before yourself.

Well, it's most practical for me... It keeps it out of my way, but keeping it a side braid means that if I'm fighting, it's less likely someone will decide to use it as a handle.

[ she runs her fingers through brown locks, loosening them so she may try and braid them the same way her friend does ]

then it is comfortable as well as very pretty - not a very common combination for hair-dos if I may say myself.

[ the prettiest hairdos of the Southorn ladies are, after all, anything but comfortable or practical ]
