video/optional action
Who: Tuck
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: On the Marsiva, if you want
When: Now?
[Okay, well, waking up in a bunk in a pool of your own drool when you're a CIA agent is kind of embarrassing. Thank goodness the communicators didn't capture that.
Now he's had the basic rundown, and this is quite boring, huh? He turns on the camera (Oh, look. Another Tom Hardy face.), and has the camera trained on himself as he's wadding up a piece of paper. Hello, British accent.]
Oh, I assure you, this is scrap paper.
[He gives the camera a grin and aims for the trashcan a small distance away. He makes it easily.]
Not as fun by yourself. I'm Tuck, by the way. I'm going to be here for a while, evidently, so I suppose it would be good to introduce myself. Let's see...
[Wadding up another paper to throw.] I'm thirty. English, yes. I'm a travel agent, [Well, not true. But he's not sure if blowing his cover is a good idea yet.] and I have a son. Very bright, very handsome fellow.
Please let me know if any of the following people sound familiar: Joe, a small boy with longer blonde-ish/brown hair and dashing good looks. FDR, a thirty year-old man, not too bad-looking, light brown-ish/blonde hair, bright blue eyes, probably hit on you. Katie, a very good-looking woman, long, dark hair, wonderful personality. And Lauren, a beautiful woman, charming, with long blonde hair.
I would appreciate it greatly if you could send me in their direction. [Tossing the paper into the trashcan. He makes it and holds his arms up in the air in victory.]
I've got the basic rundown of this place, I believe. This fleet, I suppose. Do feel free to chat me up. As you can see... [He pauses to throw another ball of paper.] I'm not very busy.

Yes, I'm familiar with FDR Foster. [ aha, someone else with an undeniably british accent. ] Welcome to the fleet, Mister Tuck.
video »
[Shh collect yourself, Tuck. He clears his throat.] And who do I have the pleasure of speaking with?
video »
[ no chill, this one. ]
video »
[That might be a pleased grin.]
Just how long has he been here, then?
video »
Do you work with him, much, in your capacity as a travel agent?
[ hint freaking hint, dude. ]
[ video ]
What makes you think they are here?
[ video ]
[He looks him over curiously.] Do you mind if I ask your name?
Re: [ video ]
[ Won't mean much unless you're a die hard sci-fi fan. His eyes continue to give off a mysterious blue glow. ]
I do know of one of those.
[ video ]
[Nope, sorry. The eyes are kind of interesting, but he's trying to hold back on all the questions right now.]
Is that so? Might I ask which one?
Re: [ video ]
[ He shrugs. ]
Your partner, I believe.
[ video ]
[He doesn't have a partner he's totally a travel agent what are u talkin about.] FDR?
Re: [ video ]
[ There's definitely a twinkle of mischief in his eyes. ] Ah, yes. That one.
video
[Mostly because FDR's double kind of had, which was a different can of beans entirely.
Also this is a perfectly good first introduction, what are you talking about?]
video
[Man, he hasn't even heard about doubles yet.
Yes, perfect introduction.] Why wait around, though, hm?
[He could very well discuss his friend's love life or make jokes, but he's being good. His answers are very careful, with how mean he's been lately to FDR.]
But I'd be happy to meet a friend of his.
video
We happen to be assigned to the same ship, and I thought perhaps I shouldn't chance frightening him off so soon after his arrival.
video
[He smiles.]
May I ask your name?
video
Not that he's following that earlier statement with Tuck, going by the smile he gets in return.]
I didn't mean to hold out on you. Felix is my name.
video;
Oh, FDR sounds familiar all right.
[ Hi Tuck. He waggles his fingers at him, but for all he shares FDR's face, there are those minute differences - Kirk is several years younger, for one, and his hair is cut differently. ]
video;
Squint.] Are you having a laugh?
[He's obviously not FDR, but... who... how?]
Re: video;
Yeah, no, this is my real face. Had it since I was born, trust me - all natural.
My name's Jim Kirk - this won't seem nearly as strange once you meet the guy who looks exactly like you, just a lot angrier.
Have to say you're taking this all very well so far.
video;
[He squints at him for a little bit.] Jim Kirk, was it? You're a friend of his, then?
Re: video;
Friend might be a strong word. I don't think he hates me, but I'm not sure there's exactly a word for that.
Video
[Which immediately makes her realize it can't be Max's mouth, because she knows it doesn't work that fast (or that much). It is a strikingly similar resemblance, though, so she can't help but answer in video out of curiosity.]
I've heard of FDR.
Video
Video
[She's staring a little, because it's weird.] I take it you know him?
Video
He pauses, though, seeing her stare a little too much.] I'm sorry, I don't... Do I have something on my face?
Re: Video
[She glances away briefly when she's caught, giving him a little shrug.] You look like someone I know. He doesn't talk nearly as much.
Trying to decide if you're as much a fool as he is.
Video
[He wouldn't let him do anything outrageously stupid, but... let's be real, they get into a lot of trouble.]
I do?
[He raises his brows, not put off, but a little surprised.] You'll have to tell me what you decide.
Re: Video
You do. It's a little jarring, I have to admit.
[slight, small asmile from her.] I'll be sure to.
video.
Seeing them talk and be a person is entirely different. He goes from mildly annoyed to mildly interested — to exceedingly uncomfortable the longer he watches. It's like seeing him if he were — normal. Mentally competent and socially outgoing, and it calls back to twenty years ago, when he was young and cautiously optimistic despite his deteriorating mindset. Back when he feared insanity and didn't become it.
And then he mentions having a son. He has to assume one of the women is potentially the mother. It makes his skin crawl. He rubs a hand across his face and the back of his eyelids get the afterimages of a baby and a woman, looking at him with utter fondness.
This... sucks.
When he puts his hand away he gives a displeased look at the screen.
He's a bit more unkempt than Tuck, obviously — more sun-baked and tan, with a stitched up cut on his forehead and a chin clean like Tuck's; his hair is more unruly, though. He looks completely unhappy with this discussion, like it's a forced project among students.]
You're Tuck.
[And then, after a pause:]
I know your friend. Can't stand him.
video.
I'm Tuck. [he agrees.] Why? [The question comes out without a thought about it. Sure, FDR could be a little rude, nosy, and mean, but he was a good guy. One of the best guys out there.] You're the one, then. The man who looks like me.
video.
Always follows me around. Hard to get rid of, and ignoring him doesn't work.
[It's 10% tsun status, let's be real; he isn't fond of FDR at all.
He can hardly stand his attitude.
He's annoyed by his presence more often than not.
... But he'd also help him in a horrible situation that could be deadly.
So.
v(._.)v]
Maybe he'll stick to you now.
video.
He is my best mate. I'm sure you'll still matter to him, though.
video.
[His brow wrinkles. Did you not hear him or...]
That'd be a problem.
He's been a pain in the ass since I headbutted him.
[SO UNIMPRESSED WITH YOU TUCK.]
video.
[He shakes his head.] Why did you headbutt him? I'm a bit lost here.
video.
He was encroaching on personal space.
So I hit him.
video.
[Okay, well, he can kinda get that.]
And your... annoyance with me is because of him?
video.
[Do you like that, do you like how he elaborated so much.]
video.
[This is like playing charades, Max, come on]
video.
[MILDLY LIES... NO BIGGY.]
M'not a pleasant person.
[... Actually, that's. That's mostly accurate. So it's a mostly truth.]
video.
[He nods, though, serious.] I'm sorry. Whatever it was. I hope it doesn't prevent us from getting to know each other.
video.
(Until one day I'm weirdly not.)]
We don't have to.
It's just the same face; nothing else. There's plenty of people to meet here for you.
voice
Well met, ser Tuck. If these people are around I am sure they will contact you through the communicator. It is how I have found my siblings as well.
[Well...] I would advise you to explore the large ship. There are robots aboard. Have you ever seen one of those?
video
Oh, and I have no idea who any of those other people are♥ Sorry~
