you know, i have to say i'm not surprised that such a ruined planet is home to humans. if there's anything they're good at, it's destroying everything they touch with their filthy little fingers.

i wouldn't bother trying to help fix it. it'll just be ruined again in a few years.

that, or they'll do what they do best and tear each other apart and there will be nothing left. better to leave them to it, or to just rot away.

Can you really call something that is on another planet human then?

i've seen no signs that they are anything but. and if humans truly have spread out into space as it seems they have, it's no surprise.

Humans are extremely destructive in a lot of cases, it's true. They pollute, they kill, they are sometimes completely selfish and have no regard for other lives. And sometimes they plug their ears and pretend nothing's wrong.

But the same applies to vampires, werewolves, demons, angels, and every other creation I've ever met. Not sure why humans are the only intelligent life you're against — I've never met any race incapable of the same... except maybe... Zanna (but even they make some pretty harsh mistakes in life).

Looks like you and humans share some pretty common traits, yourself.

who's to say i'm human myself? you have no idea who i am.

if monster souls are made of love, mercy, and compassion as they are back home...one has to wonder what human souls are made out, that they can exist without those traits.

I'm sorry to say it - just like I'm sorry for any pain that humans must have caused - but not all monsters match yours. The monsters of my world feed on humanity and commit just as unspeakable cruelty; love, mercy, and compassion are no better than humanity's. Sometimes, the monsters I see aren't even capable of that much.

No offense, but you can't speak for every world out there...

And it's not in your DNA to be nothing but cruel and horrible, as a human bring. It's up to you as a human to decide what you're going to be. Once you become what you hate most, it's all over.

i've never denied my humanity. i did point out that a human is the best gauge of how disgusting we are.

[ what they did...that could cover so many things. of course their genocide run was human. destructive, cruel things was what humans were at their core, after all. and chara knew they were no different.

it could also mean their plan to take the human SOULS and free the monsters. asriel had seen it as noble and selfless because that's the kind of person he was. but for chara, it had been lowly human greed. an escape from their wretched existence that the fall had denied them and a reward for the ones who showed themselves far above what a human could ever hope to be.
