Hello, morning everyone! I hope everyone who attended the dance had a lot of fun, and everyone who didn't- well, I hope you had fun too. The museum was really nice, wasn't it?

Anyway, my name's Sorey and I just have a very quick question. Um. About this whole 'going home' thing, I've heard it a couple times. Is it really true that you return home just as when you left it, like nothing's changed? Has anybody experienced anything different when leaving here?

I experienced that, yes- though I had no memories of the Drift Fleet whatsoever when I went back.

This might be a really weird question, but did you- did any of your friends say you went into a coma while you were here? That your body was still here even while you were back home?

Yes- and to make things even more confusing, I was only unconscious here for a week. But I was home for more than two years.

That doesn't even seem possible! So not only is your spirit moving back and forth between two different bodies, but it's time-traveling, too!

Gosh. Gosh. I didn't think it would be this complicated to figure out what's going on, but now I don't even know if I could understand it with my entire lifetime to study.

Yeah... it's weird to think about, isn't it? I knew I had to have traveled through time to get here, but it was hard for me to accept what had happened at first. I woke up back here and I was afraid that everything I knew might have changed.

What age do you feel like now, then? I mean, since you lived two years back home and all. Is your body from here any older, or the same as how you left it?

It's definitely older. I was around 15 years old when I went home, and I definitely grew and changed, and kept that same older body when I came back.

I only just woke up from 'going home'. [This is the guy that Cole referenced then. Seems a nice enough guy.] And yeah... you go home to the exact moment you left it and nobody's any the wiser you were gone to begin with.

[Then you wake back up here and fall out of bed and it's all very annoying.]

It just happened to you? Are you doing okay? [like he has questions, but more importantly]

[Pfft. She grins at that.] I'm fine! Was kind of shocked to wake up back here. Not to mention annoyed. But that's it. You kind of roll with it.

[monolike]

But that's so weird! I mean, I assumed we were actually picked up and taken somewhere, but this is more like our spirits got kidnapped. I'm not even sure I understand it.

Actually I'm positive I don't understand it.

I guess if it ends with us never missing time back home, that's good for people who have things to do, but still...it's odd. It's really, really odd. Do we all just have two bodies now?

I don't know how it works, but if you go by the theory that we're taken from a split second in time and we'll get returned to that moment when we leave, then I don't think we have two bodies. I think it's just like kidnapping us back here all over again.

And it's a solid theory to go by. I went back to experience events that hadn't happened for me yet, but a friend of mine here had-- he said he was on the ship with me the entire time and I certainly didn't vanish or anything on him.

I didn't live through any of those events with him until I slept for two weeks. [It's confusing to explain, but she found that reassuring, at least.]

[eyyyyy buddy] Well, I haven't really done it myself, but I had a couple of crewmates who went to sleep for a while, then woke up saying that they went home for a long time.

That's definitely spirit walking. Or something like that. I mean, if it's not their body going home, it's just their soul, right?
