[ In her broadcast, Kara is in her PJs, hair down and glasses off. She looks like she just woke up not too long ago and the overall vibe is very "confessional vlog". She doesn't seem distressed, just a little confused, and tired—though her eternal optimism is always there somewhere. ]

Hey, so, question: On a scale from "wow that's super weird we've never heard of something like that" to "it must be a Wednesday on the Fleet", how common is it to just like, get a bunch of "new" information from home? Which, now that I think about it, is kind of a dumb thing to ask because we have implants that give us job skills training. But I'm just wondering. Uh, in the abstract? Something like that.

Anyway, I'm going to go get some coffee and food because I'm starving. Who knew that sleeping was such hard work?

I know - I hate it too.

[ he could wake up tomorrow and be his dad. but it's like she said - so many thing could happen - worrying about them is just torturing themselves. ]

I can't promise whoever threw us here isn't going to mess with us further I - can actually probably guarantee that they will. But there are two very main reasons why I know you'll be fine no matter what they do. Wanna hear them?

[ not waiting for a response, she's hearing them ]

First - you're not alone, not for a second. And they can mess with a lot of us, but they can't take all of us. They screwed up - they brought really powerful and really smart people here and you? Are both, and befriended both. And we're not going to let anything happen to you.

And second - no matter what they do, they can't change your core, your heart, your Karaness. They can give you any memory they want - you'll still be the kindest person on any planet, the person who wants to help, to stand between people and danger regardless of how vulnerable to that danger she may be. I trust you, Kara, and I believe in you. We've faced some crazy things in our lives -- whatever they got to throw at us - we can take.

[ he's been glad she's here since day one - facing space without her was an impossible concept when he just arrived. but now...now he's just happy to be here himself, not just so kara wouldn't have to do it alone - but because he's made friends here in a way he never could back home.

he met kitty. and oh he so hopes they can get through this otherwise being here is going to turn insufferable all over again but for now - until they talk and whatever happens happens - he can just be glad for what they have. he has to, because this is about kara now. ]

[ she leans her head on his shoulder and maybe the closeness isn't fair to him, but it's what she needs right now. she's so used to having Alex around on her bad days, it's nice to have someone to anchor her ]

Infinite Earths is a real, confirmed thing.

Back up -- what do you mean confirmed?

[ that's a huge link in the getting home chain - at least knowing what they're up against. ]

Someone came from their parallel Earth to ours and helped me out. It was a complete accident on his part, but it really happened!

OK that doesn't prove infinite earths, Kara, it proves the multiverse - [ which, they already knew about -- but still that means that their earths are somehow linked - not just by pocket dimensions like the ones people keep getting kidnapped to - that's a breakthrough! ]

How'd he do it - who is he - what do you mean -- helped you out?

In this case, it's worlds vibrating at different frequencies all on top of each other.

His name's the Flash and he's a speedster, and when Siobhan literally pushed me out of a window with her voice, he caught me, even though I totally didn't need the assist.

Of course -- because when an object travels with sufficient speed he can -- match those vibrations and essentially open a breach - [ whooshing with his hand ] and go through - that's all we need to do. Well, that and find a way to aim at the right earth -

[ that part may be trickier than achieving the incredible speed opening a breach would take. especially if there really are infinite earths. ]

Do you know how fast he was going?

Faster than I can fly, I think. To get him back I had to go as fast as I could and throw him at his fastest.

That's -- very fast.

[ faster than his puny human body can withstand even if he found a way to achieve it which -- is definitely not going to happen on a spaceship, there's no room to accelerate in. ]

Is he an alien - mutant - what?

Metahuman.

He got hit by lightning the same time a particle accelerator exploded. How crazy is that?

-- extremely crazy. Safety standards on his earth must be in the dumps -

[ the likelihood of a particle accelerator explosion is supposed to be tiny. they're supposed to be checked and rechecked and triple checked and checked again, and one more time, and just to be safe, what the hell throw another check in here. those things are expensive, they take decades to build, and they're important. ]
