(no subject)

Who: Kara & Friends (and future friends)
Broadcast: video / fleetwide
Action: The Tourist, kitchen or Kara's room
When: now!

[ In her broadcast, Kara is in her PJs, hair down and glasses off. She looks like she just woke up not too long ago and the overall vibe is very "confessional vlog". She doesn't seem distressed, just a little confused, and tired—though her eternal optimism is always there somewhere. ]

Hey, so, question: On a scale from "wow that's super weird we've never heard of something like that" to "it must be a Wednesday on the Fleet", how common is it to just like, get a bunch of "new" information from home? Which, now that I think about it, is kind of a dumb thing to ask because we have implants that give us job skills training. But I'm just wondering. Uh, in the abstract? Something like that.

Anyway, I'm going to go get some coffee and food because I'm starving. Who knew that sleeping was such hard work?

Really? [he huffs out a noise, a mix of amused and exasperated] Does it account for the things that don't obey the Newtonian laws of physics?

I already like Krypton's system of physics.

Heh, that's alright. [he hums a little, thoughtful] It's going to sound strange, but I've just - given up on physics. I've seen so many things that don't obey what I know that I just sort of - accept it at face value.

Well - they have the vanilla . . . flavored . . . whatever you want to call it. [he gestures to the food machine as they step into the kitchen] I was thinking that or the chocolate, since those usually contain sugar.
beathach: but then they'd always seemed right (⚛ 018)

Mmm, well. If that doesn't work, then I'll have to figure something else out. But for now -

[delicious space vanilla flavor. """delicious""" anyway]
