If that's true, then wouldn't it be more effective if the compassion was shown directly to you instead of going through a middle man?

People are kind to each other, that generates Compassion. People hurt each other, it generates Rage and Despair.

Places hold memories and emotions. Even in the Pit, there was years upon years of memories, or people moving above. No one could see me, or hear me, but they still shaped me. They didn't know I was there because they wanted all evidence of me to vanish.
